Sad Blues fan here. Welp, another beloved piece has been traded away. He was integral in our winning the cup. Now it's your turn Toronto. Hope your guys take full advantage and get yours this season. Good luck, boys. Matt, Tavs and ROR is going to be fun to watch down the middle.
Fair... lol... what don't you like about the core of the team?Depends on how you feel about the core of the team![]()
Thank you! I started as blues fan becomes of Cujo ended up staying with the Leafs. I was cheering when Blues won the cup! Gloria was blaring!Sad Blues fan here. Let me put it this way, 2nd rounder, Ian White and Kasperi Kapanen for Kirill Kaprizov at 50% retainedShhhh.... math, logic and reason have no place on HFBoards....

There is a 0% chance we are getting Meier for Kerfoot and picks. Come on lol.If they can add Meier or Kane for Kerfoot plus picks or SAR. Dubas would just create a new 3rd line.
Or how you feel about taking both Tampa and Boston through to the finals with what we have now?
Does ROR/Acciari really move that needle against both?
Maybe one, but both is still dicey and both of those teams haven't made their deadline moves either...
Cool stats wish to source this garbage?A 1st, 2nd, and 4th round pick combined are "low"?
Actually, a 1st round pick 70% of the time nets you a good NHL player.

I believe a 2nd round picks about 50%...
a 4th round about 20%...
You do the math.
You're more likely to get two, not one.
took me years to get over that idiot Keenan trading away CujoThank you! I started as blues fan becomes of Cujo ended up staying with the Leafs. I was cheering when Blues won the cup! Gloria was blaring!

More grit I believe forsure or at least killer instinct is needed but I don't know if you can teach it ... I just think of a guy like dougie for instance and wish as much as Marner is amazing he'd add that to his game for example .. so the trades for me add to that killer mentality. I sure hope so.

Since Tyler Bozak won a Stanley Cup in his first season with the Blues, it's only fair that O'Reilly wins his 2nd Stanley Cup this year with the Leafs.Sad Blues fan here. Don't forget Kyle Wellwood.Let me put it this way, 2nd rounder, Ian White and Kasperi Kapanen for Kirill Kaprizov at 50% retained
Gaudette is probably reasonable depth on a 4th line, we just have a ton of those and younger that outplayed him this season. Abramov I don't exactly see an NHL player there but who knows.BTW, how are Abrams and Gaudette? Are they reasonable for depth call ups or destined to stay as trade pieces in the minors?
Care to explain other than you hate Dubas?x 100
WTF
As someone who was both a scout, and who does forecasting/analytics for a massive company with billions of dollars of revenue every year this is fascinating. Thanks for posting. Lends itself to when I was an active scout and how I viewed the progression of skill-based progression.
