What little I've seen of him, he's a treat to watch.

His partner will be key, given his style and size. Who do you Flyers' fans see him paired with as the rest of your young d-men move up to the NHL?

He needs a Johnny Manchuk as a partner.

Love Ghost, such a beast of a player. Super underrated prospect too. Wasn't he +7 in the NCAA championship game? He pretty much carried Union to the Frozen Four. His offensive game has transitioned over a lot quicker than I thought, maybe it's just cause of his skating abilities. He's always flying past guys, he's impressively agile.

Personally I feel he'll be better than Provorov and Sanheim, and this is from a big WHL follower.

Durring Prospect and Preseason Camps, hes been paired with Sam Morin quite a bit. Seems to make sense, considering Morins size (6'7), skating ability, and general disposition (nasty/angry) Stay at Home Dman style, Ghost and Morin would compliment each other nicely in the future.

And that game was in Philly at the Wells Fargo Center. Flyers fans got the perfect introduction to the kid called GHOST. Hes was phenominal against Big, Bad, Minnesota. They had no answer for him, He did whatever he wanted.

That Flyers D is going to be absolutely scary IF they all pan out. However, it’s very difficult to have so many young Dmen in the roster at the same time, without any veteran leadership to guide them. Just imagine if Pronger and Timonen would be 5 years younger, how they would help guys like Ghost, Morin, Sanheim, Provorov etc.

Totally agreed... That's one of the reasons why I hope Ghost sticks around the remainder of the year now. Would be nice for him to have almost a full year of experience before any others try to crack the lineup next year

He should be playing with Schultz right now.

MDZ-Gudas
Medvedev-LSchenn
Schultz-Ghost

Unfortunately the coach has a bizarre man crush on an AHL plug.

Yes, the Flyers seem interested in a Ghost-Morin pairing. Two straight prospect camps they were paired together. And as mentioned seem to be a good compliment to each others strengths/weaknesses.

Nice plays. Something for teams to anticipate. Problem is, they're so good at it that it'll work anyway.

yeah lol, passes off the puck, then finds himself open and snipes from the same spot

And he flubbed both shots. Change-ups high. Giroux and Ghost together can create so much space together and Rinne probably didn't get a good look.

Yeh, Giroux and Ghost are kind of unfair together on a man advantage (and 4v3 extenuates this)...

Giroux may well be the best PP player on earth, and having Gostisbehere there with his combo of elite skating and slap-shot gives him even more space to operate than he usually has... his passing lanes have got bigger and stayed open longer since Ghost came up, as teams cannot 'cheat' as much on Giroux as they usually do.

Yeah, you're right. I've never seen a guy skate around the ice with puck on his stick, dangling opposing players. That was some pretty crazy stuff. Next contract: 8 years, 80 million. Make it happen, Hexy!

Lol yea, defensemen regularly dangle people multiple times every game.

Scored again on a wrist shot yesterday.

That was a nice shot. In some ways more impressive than the OT winners because he actually got off a laser and didn't fluff the shot like he did on both OT goals.

That said, the OT winners were impressive because of the way the goals unfolded. His ability to find the open spot to release the shot was very impressive.

Every game I have watched him play this year, the announcers can't stop gushing over this kid. They absolutely love the way he sees the ice, skates, and generates offense.

I'm not thrilled with his defensive abilities, but that isn't a huge concern for me. He may never develop into a first pairing defender who can play average defense and put up monster points (like Klingberg or Karlsson), but he can definitely excel as a 2nd pairing defender and power play specialist.

ya he definitely doesn't excel at that but still isn't like hes a huge liability. His job is to generate offense with his transition game and offensive abilities and its definitely showing. Flyers are winning games now and hes exciting as hell to watch!!!
