The odd man rushes were brutal tonight thanks to way too much freelancing by #48 and shitty coverage by our forwards. Monty was hung out to dry.-4

He will learn. You gotta live with the rookiesThe odd man rushes were brutal tonight thanks to way too much freelancing by #48 and shitty coverage by our forwards. Monty was hung out to dry.
Absolutely. There was also terrible attention to detail by forwards who weren't covering for #48 on his pinches. Tonight's lack of team defense looked like a bad beer league team full of selfish players. He will learn. You gotta live with the rookies

We'll never be in position for meaningful games in March if this doesn't get cleaned up.

He’s been a student of Glen’s for a while..I think they should connect Lane with Dr.shot and really round out his game
As crazy as it sounds, i'd have to agree. He's just that good.I know it’s lofty praise, but I don’t think Subban created as much every shift as Lane has so far.
Cole weighs the same .At 165 pounds, there is so much you can do.
It’s fine, not an issue at all. Cheer all day long.I know we're all excited to have a guy as skilled as Hutson on the team, but the cheering just when he touches the puck is a bit much imo.
The Bell center fans need to chill about that one. We don't want Hutson to think he has to do something spectacular every time he touches the puck just to impress the fans. His game is flashy enough as is, I just want him to play his game and no worry about what WE think.
Subban was a physical beast, quick for his weight, and defensively sound. Don't let the post-trade propaganda campaign deceive you. The whole NHL was tilted against him and he still earned his reputation as a TopX dman for a god-damned reason.I know it’s lofty praise, but I don’t think Subban created as much every shift as Lane has so far.
Hutson played 24:45 tonight, only 6 seconds less than Matheson who played the most
I'm cheering from my couch at home every time he has the puck. What do you expect , we have had a bottom 3 league wide entertainment product for like 15 years. Literally only Arizona and maybe Minnesota have iced more boring rosters with less skill than us during that span. Look it up. Its not pretty.I know we're all excited to have a guy as skilled as Hutson on the team, but the cheering just when he touches the puck is a bit much imo.

It's the big build up, before the inevitable teardown lolI know we're all excited to have a guy as skilled as Hutson on the team, but the cheering just when he touches the puck is a bit much imo.

I guess, but the way I see it, when the fan cheer just because he has the puck on his stick, it means they're anticipating something spectacular. I just don't want it to affect his decision making. I know his IQ is very high, but he's still a 20 yo rookie, having 21 000 cheering just because the puck is on your stick might put unnecessary pressure on a young guy. That's just my opinion thoughIt’s fine, not an issue at all. Cheer all day long.
Yea I definitely get that, I am too in a way. I'm just pointing out the possible effect it could have on a rookie playing an already high-risk gameI'm cheering from my couch at home every time he has the puck. *edit: Just saw the Letang comments and he pretty much said the same thing about the crowd and Hutson having to be careful not to do too much just because of them
He needs to do something spectacular every time he touches the puck k thanks.I know we're all excited to have a guy as skilled as Hutson on the team, but the cheering just when he touches the puck is a bit much imo.

I doubt it will affect Hutson. Making the jump from the NCAA to the nhl didn't scare him or affect him at all, so I don't see why fans cheering when he has the puck would affect him.

Well, that sure doesn't put to bed the "He's not from this planet" rumorsThis is a kid who said he doesn't really listen to music he doesn't seem to be wired the same way most people are, so I wouldn't really worry about it.
