I saw him do things last night with the puck that shocked me. How many times can this guy shock us all over again? Unreal. We are on a very very special path here.

A true franchise player, with proper talent around him to be the best he can be. I'm very excited for the habs to have this level of offensive talent AND that talent doesn't have to pass to bargainbin players.

Then you add Demidov into the mix, and I'm losing my mind imagining how he and Hutson would be deadly at splitting the defence.

I always admired the prime-Crosby/Malkin era penguins PP set up, where Malkin would be on the point, Crosby on the wall far away from the net, and Letang/Gonchar as a shooter on the other side. They would stack the non-crosby side and make PK units choose to either leave Crosby open or be way overmatched on the other side of the ice. I think with Hutson and Demidov (along with Laine, Suzuki, Caufield, etc) we can create a similar PP that stretches the PK unit.

Kid is a complete stud. It was pretty obvious when he was setting records that his game would translate imo, I just didn’t expect it so soon. Wow, he’s absolutely dynamite.

And it's 2 years later and Lanes leading ALL rookies in scoring..

Hope Gorton gave him a raise or wtv, hope his opinion is VALUED a lot more when he discusses potential prospects

I think Matheson is still dogwater but he has less opportunities to f*** up when the other guy is handling things

It’s not true, that’s why. Matheson has been an excellent compliment to Hutson’s game. I know many would rather see Lane throw his back out carrying Savard all around the ice, but no thank you.
