What's hilarious is when someone starts a thread about Kadri getting speared by Carter, yet there's no evidence to back it up. I looked, there's nothing other than Kadri yelling at someone at the end of the second, and Im not even sure it was Carter.
 
Nice debut game for the new guys. Great to have Carter back. Hope Toffoli is okay. :) Now welcome in the Blues on Saturday because I will be there!
 
Forget the fancy stats on Muzzin. He is on pace for 40 points and is tied for sixth in scoring on this team; might end up in the top 5. Then you add the fact that the puck is usually on his stick and away from the opponent, and all the small defensive plays that he gets right, he is easily the best defenseman outside the usual Doughty/Weber/Keith.

You must have never heard of the Player who pretty much reinvented the Defenseman position that is the best to ever play his position and even better then Lidstrom. Oh yeah the one and only Erik Karlsson! ;)

Unless a sarcasm button is missing you must be new around here. Muzzin got traded for a bag of pucks virtually every single game in the not so distant past.
 
It's by the same people who criticize this team without realizing that we are third in the league with the best defense in the league.

I think he's just a hair under McDonagh defensively and Josi offensively but he's just about at that echelon. top-15-20ish.

And I want to say one more time how awesome it is that Sutter showed faith immediately in Vinny and Luke, you can tell they were appreciative too. Way to make them feel comfortable and wanted.
 
Vinny looked way motivated out there, was really itching to prove he still belongs in the league. Schenn didn't look out of place at all for me, even paired with Errorhoff.
 
weird game tonight, puck seemed to be bouncing all over the place and the Kings were suuuper slow the first 2/3rds. Kadri was diving all over the place too which was ****ing pissing me off. Doughty beating up on Komarov was gold though :laugh:
big win, absolutely blown away Sutter trusted Schenn and Lecavalier with regular shifts but they held their own just fine
 
Vinny & Mersch were magical. Every time they were on the ice, they generated a very good scoring chance together.

Kinda wish we had somehow gotten Vinny right after his buyout. Would have made Stoll and Richards expendable.
 
CARTER with 6 seconds on the KILL total in the game,
i think they're still protecting him,
maybe they don't want him blocking any shots right now
