I've routinely wanted my teams to tank when appropriate, even the Kings in the long past, but it's weird doing so with a team three years removed from a Championship. My other teams are decades removed from a 'Chip, so it doesn't feel as conflicting as "wanting" this team to slide.

Guess losing out does more than winning out. Or even winning a single game.

Gonna be a long offseason.

This team needs to be gutted. They've flatlined three years in a row with this same group, but we know that won't happen.

Guess we'll fondly be looking back at 2012 and 2014 for a long, long time.

On July 1, 2016, I posted a draft discussion topic in jest, mocking how bad this season might be for the Kings. Sadly, it was no joke. They truly did suck.

This is the worst winning percentage the team has had since 2008-09. It's the dawn of a new era. We have entered the black hole.
