Fitting loss for this **** team against and even ******** team.

Unbelievable to think that they were even fighting for a playoff spot.

My god! The Yotes were daring the Kings to score. They couldn't because they simply can't! It's just the way the team is.

I think everyone has a free pass to crap all over the Kings. A whole lot of players and personnel need to be flushed.

This Craptain Kopitar era is off to a blazing start.

Everything about this game, from the drop of the puck to the last whistle, up to and most certainly including the goal they scored, as someone said during the 1st period I think, is a perfect microcosm of this season. In every way. They didn't miss a base. Lose a home game to a team below them in the standings. Lose again to a Pacific team. Get scored on first, in the 1st period. Can't score. The list goes on and on.

Just the absolutely perfect game to end this season.

I didn't have a chance to watch the game tonight, I was just following the NHL.com play by play. I finally watched the video of the goal... that's all we could muster tonight? Yikes.

Sutter still wont play the kids over Nolan.

which is exceptionally sad because what better time than right now to play all of them and try new things with a more "2017" version of the team

especially against teams that are still battling for position

if you lose 8-3 so be it, let the kids run a bit

Alec Martinez looked pretty dejected after the loss.

But he just did. He said he was top of the list for players not getting it done in production.

An uphill battle from day 1 of the season. Lose Quick for 5 months in the 1st period of game 1, there wasn't a day this team was above .500 in regulation, giving points away left and right, Gaborik out to start the year, a career worst season almost across the board for the new captain that just signed a huge deal that made him the highest paid player in the league this season, Toffoli missed what seemed to be 7 years when he got hurt, Muzzin was awful in the World Cup, let alone with the Kings, Doughty was off all year, Carter scored 1 goal with a goalie in the net after the bye week, etc, etc, etc.

They're the ones going through it, so I would hope they're down and exhausted. Long year.
