Voted yes. They really shouldn't, and I highly doubt it will do them much good. But the east is so full of dross, the roster for all its flaws is good enough, the Bruins have a strong history of finding a way to make the cut, and Sweeney may not buy much, but I don't think he'll sell either. So I reckon they sneak in.

I voted no also, but in spite of that, I will not be shocked if they do squeak in. The middle of the pack they are in reeks of mediocrity. A few timely wins and losses and the Bruins could back right in in spite of themselves.

I voted no.

They're in 12th place by win percent. They'd need to go 15-8-3 down the stretch (.635) to finish with 93 points and most of their games are on the road. The Sens and Wings have won 7 of their last 10, the Isles have won 8 of their last 10 and now the Rangers have won 6 of 10.

Lindholm coming back will help the defense, Sweeney is too hard headed to sell and will add a Stempniak/Stafford type of player at the deadline and they'll back their way into WC2 and getting punted out by Florida again

Be a big mistake parting with more assets .Awesome year to sell. They can aquire picks from drafts down the road as well if they feel this draft is meh

I just haven't seen anything that would make me think they will make the playoffs. We may get Lindholm back and it will help, but other injuries could happen. Just don't think they will show enough before the deadline to stop a retool. That being said I do not know if Sweeney has the balls to sell either way. This team just has no cohesiveness or killer instinct.

Hampus is coming back from a broken kneecap correct? When(hoping no setbacks) he comes back it will have been close to 9 to 10 weeeks since he played in a game. He will not be the answer down the stretch. The best hope would be if they make the playoffs that he is the strong number 2 that he has been in the past. He is not the answer on them making the playoffs. He will help them lose a first round to whomever.

Zucker is coming?

I voted No . I actually hope they do not . This team needs a reboot . A season with no playoffs will make all involved look at what needs to change . It should have management and players hungry for next year . After being in the playoffs for so many years to many took for granted making the playoffs.
