Kadri

Keegan Kolesar leaves both feet to hit Byram in the head and ends his regular season = 0 regular season games $0 fine

Tom Wilson who's been suspended 5 times and fined 2 time slams Panarin to the ice and ends his season = 0 regular season games $5k fine

Nazem Kadri picks the head on a bad hit = 8 playoff games?

Such ridiculous inconsistency.

Hopefully, this gives Kadri some time away from the game where he can get his head on right. Good Kadri would help a lot in a deep playoff run, whatever this season’s version of Kadri is...not so much.

Can't wait to see Naz-ty Boi do laps w the Cup over his head while laughing hysterically, a shit-eating grin plastered across his face that screams Suck my cock

Told ya'll it'd be long. If the Avs sweep the Blues, this essentially is rest of the 1st round + entire 2nd round suspension.

Also, this is the equivalent of a 23 game regular season suspension if anyone cares. Wild. That would tie Kadri for the 6th longest suspension in NHL history.
It'll be appealed and guarantee it's reduced to 5 or 6.

Bednar none too happy with it. Says he watched all the suspension hits from the last year, and lots of 1 or 2 games. Then mentions the non-suspensions given for hits on Bo and others. Says he doesn't understand it.

Now says he doesn't understand the repeat offender rules and why Kadri gets called a repeat offender in the video when he hasn't been suspended in the last 2 years. By their definition he's not a repeat offender.

Kadri was unfortunate as he was the first player to pull a big enough dumb dumb play after the Wilson fiasco.

The 18 month rule doesn't just apply to a fine, it also applies to the number of games the player gets suspended for. Bednar was even confused why he gets 8 games. By their rules, Kadri is not a repeat offender, and he shouldn't have gotten that much.

I thought 8 games was really high tbh. 3-5 would have been appropriate.

This was Parros making a statement after botching the Wilson incident.

All good. The Avs will roll along without him imo.

And now he’s whiffed on another. All those fists to the head seem to have made a waste of his fancy education.
