Kadri

Perhaps Parros did a few lines before the meeting. Then Kadri wove a logical tapestry that both captivated and confused the strung out ex player? If forced to guess, Kadri probably used the excuse that its StLouis' fault for letting Pietrangelo walk and further asserted that if it had been Pietrangelo he hit (which it likely would have been), there would be no injury. And no injury means no crime in the NHL.

After hearing this, Parros' head was spinning. At that point he said, "far out" and did five more lines before eventually wanting to play video games. His handlers closed out the zoom call and told Kadri, he'll get back to him once he "comes down - I mean, makes his decision."

They likely don't know what the hell to assess, they are as confused as we are lol.
Maybe Parros only gave him a 5K fine but afraid to announce it because of all the criticism he'll get. He's just waiting for the right time to announce it

What if Parros is regaling Kadri with how it was "in the good old days". Saying how the Kadri hit was a nothing play that happened all the time and that modern hockey is too soft. And then they started shotgunning cans of Coors light laughing while watching the replay?

They just got caught up watching Don Cherry's Rock'em Sock'em Hockey and ended up on a bender and passing out all day.

Does the fact Miller just got sent to hospital by Orlov hit, help or hurt Kari's case?
