Maybe they’re just dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s of the answers they need to give to STL when they call after no suspension is announced.
It's not a distraction to Bednar. He's got a game tonight and has been planning for two days on not having Kadri available tonight. No matter what happens to Kadri, there is still no excuse for an L tonight.Honestly ridiculous that they would wait until during or after the game to decide on Kadri's suspension.
They're forcing a very unnecessary distraction on the whole team during a playoff game.

Of course it doesIf its not announced before the game does tonight's game not count towards the suspension?
I don’t think so.If its not announced before the game does tonight's game not count towards the suspension?

I really fail to see what the fuss is about. He's suspended indefinitely. Who cares when they announce it, it's not like he's not going to get multiple games. Everyone knows that, even Kadri.
Frankly, good that they are taking their time with it. Get it right.
Obviously, but it's going to be at least 1 game. Therefore doesn't matter if they don't announce it before tonight's game.Indefinitely is not defined. They had a hearing today. There's no reason this should remain undefined.
I won't be surprised if the Avs requested to keep the Kadri suspension quiet for now, maybe to not have destruction before tonight's game, and they will announce after the game. Avs love keeping things as quiet as possible

Lol, the league would say suck on that one and just announce it. Zero reason for them to accept if Colorado requested them to wait on it.I won't be surprised if the Avs requested to keep the Kadri suspension quiet for now, maybe to not have destruction before tonight's game, and they will announce after the game. Frankly, my guess is that they already know. They are just taking their time to make the video and press release. I'd guess this is how it works with all suspensions, teams and players are notified separate from the public. It doesn't matter in terms of lineup. It matters in terms of it being a distraction.

They likely don't know what the hell to assess, they are as confused as we are lol.I mean I'm trying to find reasons why they haven't announce it yet and I can't think of good reasons
