Yeah? You can tell from THAT video that Fabbri made a “da:naughty:ngerous” play?

You must have one hell of an incredible eye sight.

Perfect shoulder to chest hit, right? Yeppppp. no bias here, “nbwingsfan”

Both guys missed their hits and tried to compensate last second. Both were reactionary.

Please pin point where you can tell Fabbri made head contact.

I’ll wait.

Shame you can't show those angles and apparently have to rely on this one that does not show what you are implying.

I’m not wasting my time. People have eyes and can watch for themselves. If he had made full contact, that would have been a headshot.

I’m not defending Hughes....that was a dangerous play. But it’s also dishonest to act like Fabbri didn’t also just throw a potentially dangerous hit and that’s why Hughes went back at him.

It's a stupid analogy 'cause he's equating someone getting SHOT to a hockey play.

I don't know why you're feeding the trolls here, jack.
Are you calling me a troll? People get hit up high on literally every single play, shit happens, but that knee is not an equal retaliation and certainly not a “hockey play.”

Get off that high horse and admit your emotional first overall pick is showing the frustration of his first year in the NHL.

The Fabbri hit on Hughes is important for context.
Whether it justifies Hughes, or vilifies him further is up for debate.

(Also, the red wings broadcast showed a close up of the hit during the game if someone has the means and will to find it)

Yeah, let's compare that to shooting someone.

Sure, if he hits him differently, maybe he gets him with a headshot. But he didn't.

Doesn't look intentional to me. Looks like a frustrated open ice hit attempt after getting pushed around that misses, which is what happens in that situation when you don't know what you're doing. Frustrated reckless play, and a couple game suspension should be should be coming towards him.

Doesn’t seem intentional but it’s a dangerous knee on knee hit that resulted in injury.

Don’t see how this isn’t at least a fine.

Agree. Looks like Hughes wanted to hit Fabbri in the chest but just didn't line it up correctly, then reached to make whatever contact he could. Knee's a knee, whether that was the intended result or not, though.

Hughes does have the kind of face that you would want to punch in lol. He doesn't want to make himself a target.

Yes because he threw a borderline minor penalty at worst, the dude deserves injury to an area that’s already almost ruined his career already.

Impeccable logic.
A hit to the head is a hit to the head. They're all dangerous

I’m sorry, have you never heard a joke before? Making light of a situation by comparing it to a much more severe situation? Holy shit, your guy f***ed up, own it.

i think he did it on porpoise. i guarantee other teams will be scared of him now. they will see knee-boy jack on the ice and try to dodge his career ending attempts at a knee check. tbh i'm surprised jack didn't explode when giving that dirty nasty cheap knee on knee hit.
