Is Fabbri alright? A knee injury is the last thing he needs.

None of the clips I've seen show if he was able to get off on his own accord or needed help.
last i heard jack knocked him out for the year.

It's considered poor form, a favorite tactic of the CPD though.

Poor form? I wouldn't know anything about what's Good or not when it comes to "form".

I was only posting stuff that I know is true (backed up by an NHL.com link, mind you).

In other words, it's the internet.

And CPD? What does that stand for?

Well the context provided here doesn't paint him in a better picture either.

But still think he just intended to hit Fabbri legally and totally botched it.

Well no shit he didn't purposely target Fabbri's knee but he's still responsible for that.
and they went after him after that. it was a shitty hit, he knows it. gonna send a message to a 170lb 5'9 kid? if a player breathes on him he falls over.

So you admit to players not being ready but in the same breath denounce any possibility that Jack can end up ready and reach his potential

Quit beating around the bush my guy - youre totally convinced an 18 year old is a bust before his career has barely started. Youre using zero rationale except when it favors yours argument

Ive got no time to argue with a wall so kick rocks

1st overall picks having poor 1st seasons hasn’t been a great sign in the past. The only ones who really rebounded from what I can remember are Thornton and Lecavalier (who was still a massive disappointment)

Player going after someone deliberately, fans of said player go and defend him with a "he did it too" argument to excuse a knee on knee hit.
Not a good look.

This will be more fun next year when he tries this shit and Seider comes and steamrolls him.

How many of them made the furthest leap in NHL draft history - from a development program to the NHL? And then how many of those were 5’10” and 170?

Pretty sure Jack is a very rare case

Damn, I didn't realize people hated Hughes this much.
It cant be helped. Young teenager whos charismatic, good looking, and happened to have a lot of hype around him. Got the backing of guys like Kane, McDavid, Larkin, and also has a brother who’s super successful while Jack is struggling a bunch. Oh and hes our second 1st overall in three years so people hate that too.

NJ isnt a hated franchise but I can assure you they aren’t universally liked either

I mean that doesn’t really change that it hasn’t been a good sign ...
