Fan of team with Wilson on it calling Byfuglien a thug is like a Big Tobacco CEO complaining that red meat is carcinogenic.
Wilson's "dirty" hits have some resemblance to a hockey play. Using your stick as a weapon into a guy's ribs is a whole different thing.

About time some Jet stood up the Jets take so many dirty shots every single game. It's no surprise the Jets have so many more injuries than the Caps.

Just to be clear, we're talking about the same Tom Wilson that was served with a four game suspension for boarding this October, having been designated a repeat offender for his two-game suspension for a late hit in the preseason, right?

Or are you talking about the lovable character actor from Back to the Future?

I say let Ehlers earn himself back into the good graces after his last 2 games. Let him play with Copp and Armia.

Oh, well here in Winnipeg, refs allow goaltenders to be smacked in the face with baseball like swings and then proceed to allow the goal to stand so I guess the Jets are just doing what is within the rules as set by the referees.

Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

Holy f***

The mind told me would score eventually. My emotions were telling me something different.

IMO the play of Roslovic & Connor turned the game around. Their energy and drive was fun to watch.

Myers was having an awful game and then scores in OT. You can't make this shit up

Good comeback win for you guys, but Byfuglien is a thug.
I prefer the term "Husky".
He is a large crazy strong freak and sometimes when he does things like, say hockey... he breaks things...um, like people.
If you see him mad, oh boy.
What i am saying is:
I don't think his tap (aka slash) had intent, he's just strong as all get out

Suddenly it becomes clear to me that Chevy needs to find a center that can play with Laine and Ehlers.
Well, he would really have it in Scheifele, but as we all know well, Maurice just simply refuses to play either with him, although both of them have played their absolutely best hockey with Scheifele. Both of them are very offensive players and they both will VERY MUCH need a real playmaking center. It is horrible madness to see that some people even want them to play with Lowry. Just absolutely madness to play them with centers like Copp or Lowry, whom neither can do much at all of playmaking.

If the Jets seriously don’t want to play neither of them with Scheifele and don’t get another real playmaker center, then for God’s sake, even how painful it might sound, both should really be traded. They are a waste of the roster space if they are not wanted to play with their strengths and be helped to use their strengths in a way that could seriously help the team. Instead they are played with shutdown specialists in the 3rd or 4rd.

Just get rid of those young guys, if they don’t match what the Jets want from their forwards. Seriously neither are even right now any real defensive liabilities, but of course they are neither any defensive specialists or monsters and frankki even how much some of you seem to think that they should become that before they are any use, I just have to disappoint you and say that neither will ever be might better defensive players than they are now. They are not terrible with it even now, but they are just not great with it and they never will be. If you wanted that from them, you should have never drafted them.

Instead of being forced into playing in a more defensive line with a shutdown center they should be put in the situation where their offensive talents could be used as the best offence as it usually can be when the right kind of a dominating offensive line is created. If this is not what the Jets want from them, then it would be simply best to trade them. Sorry to say this, but it would be in that scenario the best thing for all most probably.

I was scanning the GDT and it seemed to be people being pretty hard on players falling and/or not completing passes etc. There was a concert at the arena last night, it was quite obvious to us that the ice overall but especially on the attack zone side (where stage would have been) was all around pretty shitty.

Just sayin'

Roslovic and Perreault must be absolute hell to play against. Tenacious and skilled.
Wheeler was in a mood today! First he gives Munz $h!t pregame, then he drops the f-bomb post-game. Love it.
Heading into OT I was thinking "great Buff's in the box, he can't screw this up too badly from there". He played a great game tonight, just has a habit of overextending himself 3v3.
Scheifele, he has risen from the ashes of injury!

Ask for a hero and he appears. Fantastic game by Mark. He seems even smarter after watching the game for so long. It's very clear he loves his role and responsibility with Wpg What a pro he is.

Great games by Buff, Roslo and Jomo. M'boy Myers atoned for his bonehead play on the 1st goal but I have not liked his decision making lately. I'm hoping his brain adjusts to the pace soon because that's all it is. He has more than enough tools to work with this team.

Chiarot has been good for a while. Have not noticed him in a bad way for a long time.

Helly was solid.

Is this MP's best year? Statistically it might be if he stays healthy!

Another baby step feels amazing right now.

Imagine posting this in a Winnipeg Jets forum.
