Wait, the club is really charging 300+ for 100 level tickets?
I saw a few 100s going for around $230, $240 at the cheapest

They are but only doing it because of the opponent. There is a 0% chance if they attempted this with any other opponent that it would work and tickets would sell.Wait, the club is really charging 300+ for 100 level tickets?
Yup..i saw in March two tickets in 110 for $48 and thought it was a bargain so i snagged them for tomorrow. Luckily my GF is willing to come to the game knowing im defs gonna go early to get my first ever bobble headYikes, I paid around $50 with fees for tomorrows game in the 200s which annoyed bc I've NEVER paid that much to sit in the 100s let alone 200s but I guess that's the cost of having a good team.
Sure is!Wait, the club is really charging 300+ for 100 level tickets?
LOL if we win the division. I will feel had for a ton of folks, but at the same time will be laughing at the rag fans or resellers.
Hire me as the plumber so I can make the sewage pipes in that section faultyYou mean when we win the division lol
If I had my way I'd have it be like soccer and Rangers fans would only be allowed a certain amount of tickets in a certain sections and not be allowed anywhere else. I need to hit a big lotto and buy the team first to make it happen lol
Spur of the moment kids on spring break type of thing. I'm not though so I'll be busting my ass home to scoop them up and then turn right around and go right back up the parkway. Hopefully we get there in time for the bobble head.Yup..i saw in March two tickets in 110 for $48 and thought it was a bargain so i snagged them for tomorrow. What's crazy is at the beginning of our "streak" in the early part of the season I got two 100 level tickets for like $60 total. For years you could score them for less than $20 a ticket. Last year against Detroit at the end of the season I got four tickets in like 122 for less than $80 day of the game. How the turns table.I paid like $40 before fees for 200s tickets for tomorrow.
They were going for $70 for some of our recent weekend games though
Same, I'll be home by 4:45 and then turning right around. I should get there around 6 which should be enough time.I was trying to get out of work earlier to take in some of the pregame stuff but best I could do was around 5PM. As long as traffic isn't an issue I think I should still get there in time for a bobblehead
So you’re mad because the Devils are pricing the tickets high, because it’s preventing you from doing so? I don't agree with how they’ve treated partial plan holders at all, but this somewhat validates their decision.Yeah, this is ridiculous.
I bought a 14 game plan this season with the expectation that there'd be playoff access, and figured it'd be the usual thing in most sports where either the league sets playoff pricing or otherwise things are at a flat rate. Whoops!
The real killer here is that there's a good chance I wouldn't even be able to make most of the games during the first round; I've got a huge thing at work that's gonna eat up a lot of my weeknights until the end of April. But, like plenty of other people, I'm sure, I was thinking of picking up a few tickets, reselling them, making a tidy sum, then using what I made to buy any further rounds that came along.
Instead, I just tried to get two of the cheapest seats to game 1 and with fees it all came out to over $550; without a guarantee that I could even be at any of the games, there's no way I'm going to do that and then just hope that I can fetch something like $300 a seat for stuff in the 200s on the secondary market.
So, basically, there was no real benefit to people holding any kind of partial ticket plan thanks to this dynamic pricing bullshit. Cool beans.
What did he say about the geofencing thing? I don't think that would help much considering how many Rangers fans are in NJ and then they would just be keeping out fans that are in the NY and CT area which I believe we do have enough of that you wouldn't want to block them out.
I'd rather see visiting fan only sections put in and you're not allowed to wear shit blue anywhere but there. People would be so salty about it and I'd enjoy it so much lol
Yep! I've paid tons of money to the Devils this year, and getting a chance to net seats that can be flipped for a nice sum and thus go into paying to go to more Devils (or insert your team of choice here) games is often a perk people who get ticket plans look forward to in a most sports leagues. So you’re mad because the Devils are pricing the tickets high, because it’s preventing you from doing so? that is pretty terrible and there are no excuses for this to happen. it won't do anything but i'll bring this up tonight at the STH sales pitch I'm attending to try to get me back. i'd only consider a partial plan but after hearing about this, that's now probably a big no. for season tickets, i've already been told that what i paid for 2 tickets 3 years ago, is now worth 1 ticket lolThe bottom line is that partial plan holders were not given access to strips or to the pricing that the STH's and new-to-NEXT-season STH's were given to. The "priority" access that partial plan holders were given was to those tickets that STH's purchased and put up for resale at a markup OR the remaining tickets that the Devils then marked up (DYNAMIC PRICING!!!) based on what the STH's were selling their additional tickets for. Partial Plan holders got access to the marked up tickets just barely ahead of newsletter access (which will include LOTS of Rangers fans) and Public Onsales. Gee, thanks for that "priority" access.
Partial Plan holders got screwed. Don't ever buy a partial plan, there's literally ZERO benefit.
