Going to be going to my first game since pre-lockdown on the 23rd. It seems like a lot of places have changed in the 2-3 years it's been since I last went. My go-to pregame spot was always Hells and now I need to find a new place. Anyone got recommendations for a good food spot with a solid beer menu? I might try the chicken place that was just talked about, but seeing what the other options are.
I would recommend Bello’s: Gastropub | Bello's Pub & Grill | Newark

It’s not too far from where Hell’s was located and it has a huge beer selection. The food is always really good too. It’ll get crowded closer to game time.

Mad for Chicken is a good option though if you decide to pregame closer to the arena (especially given the forecasted chill on Friday night). I actually went last week and took some photos:

I got my cousin coming up for Wednesday's game vs the Bruins and I've NEVER seen tickets this expensive for a Devils regular season game. It's insane.

Starting to wonder if there is a group effort in Boston to come to this game, hence the $$$ seats. And I get that holiday games are more $$$, but for three seats in in the 200s to run over $700?

The post Christmas game is always like Opening Day 2.0 in terms of demand, with even more people available. Add in the buzz around the team and appeal of the Boston game

When buying stubhub tickets, how can I identify which come with M-Club access? There's no info offered on any of the Section 19 tickets available for sale. Do certain section 19 rows always come with access? Thx!

M Club access is sporadic throughout the section, although the first 5 or so rows may be automatic. I have seasons with M Club access in the top of the section and StubHub is frustrating because there's no real way to indicate that my seats have access when I sell them.

Hey all. I'm making a spur of the moment trip from Columbus to go see Phish at MSG and will be sticking around on Sunday to see the Hurricanes game. I came to the Rock 10 years ago to get a chance to see Martin Brodeur play in NJ. I think they played the Hurricanes that day too. The Devils were my favorite team before we got a team in Columbus and I still follow them but this is only my 2nd time coming to NJ.

I'm sure a lot has changed since the last time I was there. What are the can't miss recommendations to get the full Devils experience? I still need to get a ticket to the game but I see those seem readily available.

Inside the arena is about the same other than more peddlers trying to get you to sign up for for contest, memberships, etc. Outside bars and restaurants come and go with Redd's on Edison street being the exception to that rule but, nobody goes there anymore because it's way too crowded!

if you have any extras i’ll answer all of your questions

That Hurricanes game on New Years Day is going to be very sparsely attended with the Jets and the Giants having games with huge playoff implications and a lot of people recovering from NYE and getting ready to go back to work/school.

It's too bad because these Hurricanes home games are incredibly meaningful. Would have been nice if it was a night game after the football games at least.

No extras but tickets are actually going below face value for 4 day passes in the upper level which is why I decided to make the trip.
damn, that’s enticing. i could only swing one or two nights at most with two young kids and having just moved out of the city, but some of those prices would be worth it for only one or two nights anyway and may still try to sell off the 4th night. it would be the first msg run i miss since 1998 ugh

I'm sorry, are you talking about the Winnipeg Jets and the playoffs?

That's too bad. looks like some individual nights are going pretty cheap too.

For anyone who's been to the restaurant ledge recently what are the items I shouldn't miss and the ones I should avoid?

Reviews online are pretty mixed but many of the negative ones are about cost which isn't an issue for me as it's included with the ticket.

Cheapest tix in the 200s for Sunday's Canes game are like $80. The f... its a 3pm start and both Giants and Jets play during the game. Will be like 13k crowd.

They absolutely do. It's insane the draw football has. That game though will be solid for us attendance wise bc no school or work for most on Monday, way to end the "Christmas vacation" for people, an afternoon game, etc.
Ticketbastard's seat map indicates tommorow will be a sellout. I think our 8th so far this season.

That plus a lot of people bought tickets long before it was obvious both the Jets and Giants would have meaningful games
