Apparently we scalp our own tickets these days. $325.00 for a single month club seat in the lower bowl. It's a blue dot on your Ticketbastard seat map. Supply and demand...

Been like that for years now "variable game pricing"

For my season tickets each game has a different level of pricing, this game is the highest tier and almost double the price of a lot of games.

Hello. Im on my way from Sweden again, will watch the game against the kraken 9feb. Im thinking what tickets i should buy. Before i have been sittning in the 100:s sections and i like them. If i double the price i can sit in the lower level, Any tickets that include drinks and food?

Food and drinks but, no booze included. Center lower bowl sections have food and drink included unlimited. Then some suite level options too with a restaurant.

Renewal e-mail is out. light on details

The option for unlimited trade ins for tickets to different games is definitely a nice addition. I haven't used that option at all this year but if I run out of buybacks / can't sell my tickets it's a nice option instead of just eating the money.

I haven't used my buybacks as much either just because the secondary has been very hot.

This is a pretty awesome perk but I'm scared to see the price of what will pay for next season.

Yeah I'm definitely expecting it to go up but I'm honestly not expecting it to go up too much. I think they still know that our fan base still isn't gonna pay insane amounts for tickets for the most part.

I'm curious to see what the playoff prices are gonna be like. It's been so long I don't even remember what 2018 cost lol

I'm skeptical of the "some restrictions may apply part." There has to be a major catch or this doesn't really seem to make much sense. What is stopping someone from, say, purchasing a ton of season tickets and then selling back all games other than the big ticket ones? Just carry that credit towards next year (or playoffs) to rinse and repeat?

Either way, hopefully unrestricting it a bit will help most. Secondary market has been good this year but sometimes it's nice to be able to dump a game you can't make it too without having to micromanage TM/stubhub.

Edit: nevermind, I read the email as being unlimited buybacks. I didn't even know game swap was an option. My rep sucks and barely communicates with us...

The game swap restrictions will be something like you can't trade in all your tickets for just a Rangers home game. I believe they already have something in place like that.

I would love for them to give us more than 8 buybacks. 10-12 would be incredible. I really have no use for extra tickets so I haven't done any swaps for more tickets to other games.

probably will require an equal level game swap or something. I seriously never knew this existed though.. we like to bring a larger group 2-3 times a year but I believe have been choosing the perk that we get random extra tickets or something.

I know it was on the website link to the perks when renewals went out last year, I can see how one could just miss it on the website by accident.

I also don't primarily manage our account so don't usually select perks but definitely didn't realize. We use the buyback often, though not this year so much since resale market has been strong enough. Might use the game swap here and there to consolidate tickets for the occasional F game.. but even those random Tuesday nights against a Western Conference opponent have been awesome to attend this year + enough of a market.

I do shudder at what the playoff pricing will be.. I expect them to go for the kill, especially given the likely opponent.

Hey guys, i usually drive in to the games from about an hour away, but for the Kings game I will be staying in Hoboken. Do you recommend driving, uber, lyft, or is the path the best option?

Personally, I'd take the PATH. Looks like trains run every 15 minutes on weekdays around the time Devils games let out and it's an easy transfer at Exchange Place. Probably easier/cheaper than finding/paying for parking. Guess it also depends on where you're staying in Hoboken, as the PATH could be a bit of a hike if you're uptown.

The unlimited swaps is a great perk; in effect, you are getting the old "flex plan" (where you committed to $xxx and could pick and choose # and location of tickets to each game) at full sth pricing. You can do an even swap for a game in the same pricing tier, or "upgrade" and pay the difference (at sth pricing). I think they do exclude Ranger games from the swap option.

I declined to renew a couple of years ago because I wanted the flexibility of the flex plan. At
the time, I had one child in FL for college, one at grad school in CA, and one living/working in CT ... so depending on holidays, semester breaks, etc ... I wanted different number of tickets for different games ... plus would take clients to premium seats a few times/year. Rep told me they were no longer doing new flex plan subscribers, so after 20+ years as a sth, i didn't renew.

They called me back before the season started and offered me unlimited swaps ... I renewed, and it has worked out exactly as I had hoped.

So, for anyone who values unlimited swaps as a perk ... you're welcome :-)

I am bringing my youngest to visit a college in the area and he wants to take in the Devils game tomorrow night. He brought it up without my prompting. Obviously a proud moment for me. In any event, we haven't been to a game since Covid. I don't recall sight lines all that well. Are tickets in the 100 level suites good compared to seats in the back half of the lower bowl and do suite tickets come with an actual seat?

100 suite level tickets are the best in the house imo. If they don't have a seat number, it's a standing room ticket. Depending on how crowded it is, you might be beat. You can always sit at the table right behind the last row.

I love the 100 level suites personally. Avoid the sro tickets if you can but sitting at the bar in those isn't so bad. Check the secondary to see how many of the seats have been sold. If it's less than 5 or 6 you're good to go.

There are no bad seats in the back half of the lower bowl. Always try to get near center ice or at the end that the Devils shoot twice on, but you won't be disappointed either way.

Have a blast!

How do I find out how many seats in a given suite have been sold?

For example, I just went to vivid seats (though I prefer tick pick because they charge no fee) and can see that there are 4 seats for $86 available, 2 for $76, 2 for $91, and 4 for $253, then a few sro in section suite 115. Which essentially means that you'll most likely have the entire suite practically to yourself. You're most like good wit suite 109 as well which is closer to the Devils shoot twice end and not far off of center ice.

You can do the same on stubhub, ticketbastard, or seat geek. Pull up the game and click on the section(s) you want to sit in. But if it were me I'd probably jump on the tickets in 109 or 115 vivid is offering. Just hold your breath when you see the fees.

You'll need the app.

Thanks for sharing. My son just got home from lax practice. After he gets out of the shower I'll see which he prefers. I'll guess he goes with the closer tickets but we will see.
