I am taking my son tomorrow night. He opted for lower bowl seats over the suite seats. I’ll let you know my thoughts on Friday. A couple of posters who frequent the Rock recommended thr suites. See their posts above.

The goal bar is different from the suites.

The goal bar includes unlimited food and soft drinks and has an actual bar/lounge. The seats are quite large and while you don't have walls separating you from people on the same level it still has a relatively private feel to it.

If you don't mind spending the $150 this is probably my favorite section in the arena as I can eat like I have a tapeworm, enjoy the fair amount of privacy, empty bathrooms, and being at the end the Devils attack twice.

Invoices are out! My tickets are over $50 per game now. I was paying $29 when I first joined. I haven’t moved my seats once.

Are platinum seats still available in ticketmaster or resale markets ? I went to a game last year and ticketmaster explicitly stated platinum seats. Had a great time and it was easy for my 6 yo daughter to use the private bathrooms. I only see club seats listed now.

The Ticketmaster resale system doesn’t do a good job of clarifying if you’re buying platinum. Try secondary sites likes Vivid or SH and check the notes to see if M Lounge is listed.

You were absolutely correct. I see a few listed in vivid seats. Will try the other sites too. Thanks !

How long have you had them? My seats definitely went up, just not sure how much cause I have to look at past payments.

Section 20 is a great choice for a game. Across from the bench and right by the blueline for two periods of offense. The club is a nice treat for game good - actual salad and fresh fruit and unsweetened tea - and has a solid bathroom. You also walk right past Bill and Dano who will say hello of you catch them at a quiet moment. Lots of fun and my son got a picture with Dano.

20 is the shit.

So long as your above row 10 or so. Can't see much along the boards on that side otherwise.

Playoff ticket prices definitely have a sticker shock on them too but I've saved so much money over the last decade with only 2 playoff games that it doesn't bother me much.

The biggest thing that some people are going to be pissed off about is that it says if you opt out of renewing it doesn't look like you'll get your same seats for this year's playoffs which is really messed up if it's true and I'm not just reading it wrong...

My only really complaint is the $15 dollar service charge. You just raised the prices, can you just include it in the damn ticket prices so it's just hidden. It just feels like being nickel and dimed. Either don't charge me at all for it or at least just include it in the cost already.

Agree about playoff sticker shock. I’m my section, if they were to play all 16 home games (impossible, I know), it would cost 85% of the full season. The SC Finals are more than double the Tier A+ game.

I know it’s been a while, but in 2012 I remember that prices did not hold at those levels on the secondary market. We almost need playoff buybacks!

It’s a fair point that the team’s ineptitude has saved us a fortune over the years and I guess I’ll try to view it through that lens. (I do not necessarily read that language that you have to buy the playoff tickets).

It's hard to see a lot of people opting out after THIS year...but this isn't exactly the season you want to pull the 'no soup for you' card, since it looks like it's better than 50-50 it'll be Devils-Rangers, having more tickets up for public sale is just asking for trouble.

I (think I) recall that in 2012, the first round the demand was poor, it was pretty good for the second round, and then of course demand for the Conference Finals and SCF was huge.

I think the demand for the first two rounds will be much higher this year, for a few reasons:

1) While the Devils had missed the playoffs in 2011, they had lost in the first round the 3 years prior to that, and they had been in the playoffs every years since 1997 (and had won only two rounds(?) since 2003. I think there was a sense of "entitlement" from (arguably spoiled) fans, basically waiting for them to show something before they committed their $$. Think Atlanta Braves fans when the won their division every year, and never won in the post-season.

2) I think there is still a good amount of "post-COVID" pent-up demand for live events, and (for a hockey fan) there may be no better live event than playoff hockey

3) While first round prices are higher than regular-season, (at least in my section) they are still well below what the secondary market prices (/Devils dynamic pricing on TM) have been for any game with reasonable demand (i.e., weekend games, quality/popular opponent, etc.). I would have to think that the folks who have been buying those games will buy playoff tickets

Also the 80s/90s kids have arguably more disposable income now in their mid-late thirties to early 40s.

I really have to talk to my rep. I was row 2 on a great price break paying about 5200.00 per seat devils shoot twice side. Now my invoice is 12,000 per seat due to the a new club that will only be accessible for row 1 and row 2 seats. I have to see what they have available and can offer me. Also need clarification about playoff tickets it looks to be if you don’t renew you’ll get playoff tickets but not your exact seats. Don’t want to miss out on possible rangers devils series but when it comes down to it if it doesn’t make sense to renew I won’t. Any suggestions on good sections that have good enough resale during season to justify having season tickets ?

The playoff tickets if you opt is definitely worded poorly and I agree it sounds like if you opt out you don't get your same seats.

You look to be selling all the games? I can't honestly say any seats would make financial sense to buy if you're just trying to sell the vast majority of the games.

I think the tickets should be cheaper throughout the entire arena but of course with the team doing well now they just can't wait to up the prices.

I actually am pleasantly surprised by my seat's playoff prices. I thought they would go much higher? First round right above B pricing for me, second round below A pricing and conference finals just above A+ pricing. SCF prices are absurd (2x+ A pricing).. but severely underpriced if we end up playing NYR in round 1.

Don't really care about the incentives for signing up early but not quite sure how it makes sense to have an incentive for signing up by Feb 9 when I got the email at 6 pm on Feb 9th...

Only other new interesting thing is they are planning to have an annual open practice.

Agreed on the incentives, didn't even give you any time to decide, plus honestly I wouldn't even wanna go to an away game with travel included even for free, especially cause you don't even know what city it is lol

I'm pretty sure they have had open practices for awhile now minus the covid years. They definitely had one this season. I don't pay a ton of attention to that kind of thing cause I have no interest in going.

When you sit in section 20. Would you rather sit on the aisle closer to 19 or 21? Or it doesn’t matter at all
21. I prefer the view from the corner as it's completely unobstructed.

But that's just personal preference. I'm sure some people would rather be closer to center ice.

21 is also the nearest section to the escalators which makes entering and leaving the arena a breeze.

Also, go in through the box office entrance where the team store is. It's usually much faster - and warmer - than waiting outside of the towers.
