Oh he had a couple of brain farts. That’s what’s so frustrating about Holl. If played as a third pairing dman his brain farts will be limited. Let’s be honest though, what was he doing at the top of the offensive crease with just over a minute left? I’m glad he was, but it was a gamble for someone like him. If he missed, he’d be screwed.

I am ready to shit on Holl whenever he deserves it. These two games he blocked shots from Ovi and scored a game winning goal against Sens. So Holl helped the team win two games.

There is a lot of Jack Campbell to his game in that he makes a lot of great saves but lets in some goals he probably shouldn’t.

For now anywayI sure hope he can work that out of his game. That 2nd goal against the Caps i actually thought i was watching Jack again.

Holl is playing excellent. His goal aside he's been a PK horse. Seems more confident than last year.

Samsonov is the storyline for me this reg. season. Still not entirely confident in his game but he's the glitter signing of this off-season. Boom/bust candidate to be a future core piece if he establishes himself as a .915sv%+ starter and with Murray out, he has a chance to get into a groove early in the season. If he busts, it'll be a revolving door for years, so here's hoping.

How did he give us all the finger?
He took the only chance he will ever have in his career for a big payday. There were even reports that he would have returned if we matched or at least came close. We didn’t even tender an official offer.

I mean I’ll glad we didn’t give him the contract he got but I don’t fault him for getting it.

I'm not miserable at all. I didn't want Jack back at that price. But he gave his all for the crest. I just don't get joy from one of our past soldiers doing bad. That might be your thing, probably gives your life meaning, to me it's schadenfreude. But enjoy. You be you.
