I though the graphic they had up between the 2nd and third periods said it all. Ottawa was in the offensive zone for 12 minutes and Toronto was in the offensive zone for 17 minutes.

The team that has ~50% less possession SHOULD have more hits.

Yes and it was informative but someone used the numbers of hits differential in order to uhm "illustrate" that the Buds are quite obviously a soft team.

Things like that are, as I was saying, basic hockey 101, cripes even people who have played peewee house league should understand that.

I know it comes off as me being dickish by correcting people more often than maybe I should, but I just get tired of the amount of misinformation that's generated and spread around here while trying to pass it off as expert opinion in order to prove how crappy the GM/coach and players are. It's the same as not understanding the Leaf rotation schemes in the Ozone to point out how stupid/bad and careless certain players are. Jeebuzz cripes

Don't take it personally. There is a very vocal (and seemingly large) contingent of posters masquerading as 'Leaf Fans' that jump in with both feet anything that paints the Leafs in a negative light. At least this issue had a sliver of truth (taken out of context) often that group will just make stuff up to try and get a rise out of real Leaf Fans.

It's bad and this place would be much more enjoyable to read without all that. Too bad there is no one with the power to step in before it gets out of hand like it always does.....

Deserved win .. Leafs looked a little faster than against caps .. Sammy kept them in game at points when we fell asleep .. Rielly 2nd game in a row where his defense cost team .. Muzzy and Holl look to be starting to improve but it is Sens so will reserve judgement .. big shout out to Willy that is 3 games in a row to start season where he decided to impose his will .. a little late start to his game but in 2nd he started to tilt ice to us .. a team needs 1 guy to impose himself and bring everyone else up .. da 3 shifts before his goal, wow what a rifle, he tiled da ice each shift and game mo changed .. lets hope he can continue to lead
