We wonnered. I am glad hopefully we keep tightening up our game and not playing down to others. The more it becomes a habit the better our playoffs will be !

Samsonov has the net, cannot have any faith in MM
I have not see you in a long while ! Hello again

Player who bothers me right now is the hog. Get him off our top line.
Who is the hog O_O...unles you are from the future and dubas has traded from hoglander from the nucks.

It would definitely be interesting to try Robertson on the top line. Bunting hasn't been great with his decision making. The line isn't really clicking yet so I don't see the harm in experimenting.

As a bonus, you can see how Bunting performs elsewhere and maybe keep his point totals reasonable if you want to re-sign him.

It's amazing how so many "fans" start pounding the keyboard the minute we lose but winning doesn't seem to interest them at all.:laugh:

Anyhow, we're not exactly playing amazing so far but I'm not the least bit bothered. I remember how we started last season, we were playing worse than we are now but we were also losing and so many "fans" had us pegged as a bubble team (or worse) before we turned it around. My only minor concern at this point is Murray's health but Samsonov's performance so far goes a long way to make up for that so can't complain too much. Two wins out of three games, could be better but it could also be worse, much worse even so I'll gladly take the 4 points and look forward to the next of the 82 warm up games we have to play before the playoffs start.

GLG!!
I don't miss Babcock at all, but his 3/5 formula is pretty spot on. Parity is high and it's hard league, if you get 60% every five games your on good side. You can't win every game.

Looks like the team is still finding it's feet. Bright side they are finding it with wins instead of losses. Keep rolling on Monday, should be another easy win.
Selfishly looking forward to Samsonov getting a run and becoming the #1 for this year and many more.

Robertson is never going be a fit for Matthews and Marner 5v5 that Bunting is. Robertson's game is to put a shot on goal in the offensive zone once he gets possession, that's Matthews' place. Matthews and Marner's winger needs to do corner cycling work, crowd the crease and most importantly put the puck on the sticks of Marner and Matthews. With the current team Robertson would most likely work best as the trigger man on a 3rd line in Engvall's place.

Wasn't a pretty game but we got the job done. In these early stages of the season that is all that I care about, the team does not need to look pretty. Continue to bank points and improve on a game to game to basis

This game was played pretty even most of the night with Leafs finding a way to pull out the win in the end.

Sens are a vastly improved team with their new additons and will be stealing more points from the contenders in the East this season.

Exactly this.

I think he has the skillset...now the question is the mindset and potential he is capable of being hit...goalies are such a mystery lol.

it's funny you mentioned Babs because on;

October 16, 2015 Babs got his first win as head coach of the TMLHC

These guys barely have a pre-season anymore. I'm not really expecting the kinks to be worked out yet. Another week of lineup consistency and they should get rolling.

Goaltending, obviously, is going to be the concertn
I don't know why there were only 6 preseason games this year. They previously had 7 to 8 games every year.

What really strikes me is the way play the sharp tight game. We are totally In control and keep the puck nicely. We are not worrying cause the structure is so pure. That goes on keefe and the players.

The offense still isn't firing on all cylinders just yet but it's getting closer every game and untill they do get going Samsonov is playing very well and keeping them in games and finding ways to win and That's what we need

Shakey game but considering it was against the consensus Stanley cup favorites I'll take it :sarcasm:

I hate Holl more than I should but hey ... Holl giveth, Holl taketh away. Tonight he gave us a good play to win the game, clutch. Still can't wait until Liljegren returns to take that job tho

Samsonov can make himself a very rich man if he keeps playing like this and steal the #1 for himself

If anyone is interested in what Keefe was saying during his rant at the Refs yesterday, here is the twitter account where you can find the tweet. @Jomboy_
Can't post the tweet because of language
