Not really.

The only reason Holl scored is because he was out of position, as usual.

If it doesn’t go in and Ottawa takes it the other way, no way in Hell that Holl is even close to getting back.

Your welcome….

Bizarre take. You say out of position like he was drifting around .. he made a smart read as there was a clear path to the net and he was not covered. And knew Marner was up high as support. He also took Marner's pass in stride as they swapped places, and used Marner has a bit of a pick to gain separation. Was he supposed to just dish it to Bunting down low and stop at the hashmarks?

Feels like half this fanbase thinks proper positioning aligns with table hockey

Basic hockey 101, it's hard having to explain simple stuff. As an example why Ottawa has a higher number of hits then a team like Toronto

I was kidding…..

I guess I should have put a smiley instead of “You’re Welcome” to be clear.

I though the graphic they had up between the 2nd and third periods said it all. Ottawa was in the offensive zone for 12 minutes and Toronto was in the offensive zone for 17 minutes.

The team that has ~50% less possession SHOULD have more hits.

Holl was terrible this game not including the goal. He gave up multiple 2 on 1 on stupid pinches.

I see Samsonov becoming better and better and Murray never catching back up. Bam and just like that Samsonov was our number one goalie.

Just Holl esrned it this game. Folks should lay off a bit.

Nylander will be going on a scoring tear too
Still pinching myself. Holl had a good game. He showed some great IQ on that goal. Lets hope he continues

Holl played a solid game. No brain farts in two games in a row. Impressive!
He's better without the mullet

I don't think I have ever seen a player get bashed for scoring a goal on HFboards, that take was a new one.

Robertson is never going be a fit for Matthews and Marner 5v5 that Bunting is. Robertson's game is to put a shot on goal in the offensive zone once he gets possession, that's Matthews' place. Matthews and Marner's winger needs to do corner cycling work, crowd the crease and most importantly put the puck on the sticks of Marner and Matthews. With the current team Robertson would most likely work best as the trigger man on a 3rd line in Engvall's place.
This is exactly right!

I'm going to keep saying it but Robertson-Nylander on opposite wings together has insaneeeee potential with Kerfoot's speed in the middle. Nylander and Robertson's skill set are made for each other. They are perfect compliments with there speed, quick thinking and shooting abilities. This line already worked in pre-season as well when Robertson when off for 3 assists. Tavares can play with Janrkrok and one of Malgin/Engvall/Kubel.
