The Leafs deserved that win. They controlled the play the majority of the game and had much better scoring chances.

Samsonov was great. He's very quick and agile. Defensively the Leafs were solid as well, they cut down on a lot of the crap of the last few games.

The top line is just really not good enough and offensively the Leafs need to get going. But it's nice to see them grind out wins.

That is a good win. Honest effort from everyone.

Only disappointments for me were Aube-Kubel & Aston-Reese. I think they need to simplify their game, we don't need them trying to make any fancy plays; we have other guys to take care of that. Pierre doesn't look great, but didn't have a pre-season and should settle in next week. That is 5 periods in a row from the good Holl, soak it in!
