It's still early I know but I'm starting to wonder if this coaching staff is good enough to take this team to the next level when they are ready to win and compete for a playoff spot. Lots of head scratching decisions and very slow to make any in game adjustments (if at all) from this group at times.

Explain me something.

We are going into year 3 of MSL.

Still, no structure, no identity, no culture, no improvement in all facets.

This is not normal even for a rebuild. The guy is clueless. We even look worse this year lol

MSL sending out Dvo in OT in case Suzuki got tossed was hilarious considering how bad he’s been in faceoffs.

Yeah, that was just dumb. I've been mostly supportive of MSL, but he's relying on players now who just aren't getting it done. No way Dvorak should have been out there. If you want a face-off specialist put Evans on. He was having himself a game & was driving play.

Caufield, Dach, and Slaf all had good years under MSL. Same with Matheson.

The roster is shit without Laine, the real Dach, and now Guhle on the side lines. I don't agree with all of MSL's choices. But I thought we were the better team tonight, aside from all the penalties.

I'm all for Dach on the wing, his best hockey for us was played there.

I think Kapanen is very mature for a rookie and NHL ready. I'd give him a shot at 2nd line center with Newhook and Dach on his wings. It couldn't be worse than Dach at C winning 0.002% of his faceoffs and Armia on the wing acting as a pylon.
Japanese and Heinemen shots were impressive . Goal scorers touch

I understand that our Captain has had a rough start but, to say that he's not a 1st line centre is ludicrous. He was 15th in points for centres last year. Several teams had 2 centres in the top 15 (Edm, Van, Tbl) so, if Suzuki is not a first line centre, then there are 19-20 teams who don't have first line centres
