I'd listen on DeBrincat and Strome, but lean toward keeping them. They're only 21 and 22 respectively. Only move them for a king's ransom.

3 mins of play when the Preds were up 3-0. I still don't think this line works. Especially in away games when the opposing coach can match against them.

none of them shot the damn puck..they all kept passing up chances and the opposition shot every time they could..they made themselves look bad especially Kubalik who had one of if not the worst game as a Hawk.

The Blackhawks should send Dach back down.

I understand the desire to let him develop at an NHL level, but there's simply no reason to burn a year off his ELC on a roster that has no hope of contending for a playoff spot. From an asset management perspective, you're better off waiting until you can surround him with better and put him in a better situation to succeed and actually help the team toward something worthwhile at the NHL level.

I just don’t see how he develops better playing against that level of talent vs staying up.

If it were the AHL that would be one thing.

Yeah that’s what I was getting at. JC is pretty green but I think he’s been great for the young players. Nylander has a fire in him now and looks great.


I wish Colliton could’ve gotten a few more reps in the AHL before getting called up but such is life

JC was dealt a tough hand. The core is coddled in this city. They suck so its JC's fault. Until the core is completely gone it looks as though nothing will change because forces are working against each other. JC tries to hold prominent players accountable and is questioned, so now Seabrook will go back in and he'll still be the worst player on the ice. Its a lose-lose. There's no accountability anymore and thats why they laydown on a nightly basis. Its all about keeping a core happy that hasn't won a playoff series in 5 years...But this city loves to live in the past (see 1985), so the fans would rather see the core have their ego stroked than make necessary moves to ice a winning team again...and then they'll stop paying attention completely when they really bottom out and the real rebuild process will begin...

Toews is correct...Score should have been 10-0 or more for Nasville if not for Lehner..


It the question for the psycholigits is Why Did Lehner show up to play and No ody ...I mean No ody else did for the Hawks?

Usually a few players have poor games ..maybe whole line or two ...or a certain d-pair has a bad game.. it tonight Every single player in front of Lehner quit on hom and on the pride of the Indianhead as they let Nashville walk allover them..it was a Monumental Effort to surrender this badly.

I do not think Ihave ever witnessed such another show quit from the very first shift that was this bad ...

Even the Sam Gagner 8 point game for Edmonton a few years back was never this
much of a surrender of compete.
Maybe games back when the GretzkyvOilers domonatedctge league or perhaps in the Origibal Six when Montreal toued with the opps.

But the Hawks surrendered the fight on the very first seconds if the first shift and played out the string in give up// dowhat you want with us/. we will just watch you skate and offer no resistance mode...

Our players betrayed Kehner...left to fend for himself...betrayed the fans ....the fans who expect at least compete effort not a " this game us too hard to exert resistance...so we just won't" attitude perfornance...the players betrayed the trust out in them to earn their lofty pays ...they betrayed their coaches. And betrayed EACH OTHER.


Now IF Nd only IF some info comes down that provides a legit excuse for this like:

. Plane had mechanical or weather problems...did not get in till 4:30 am ..players dog tired/no sleep

.Confirmed flu bug hit the locker room...players played sick ...

.Nashvilke blood-dpped their pkayers. Cheated. So naturally Hawks got dominated.

.It was Russian Collusion...the oligarchs and Putin made a deal with all the Hawks except Lehner to give then free Chevy cars"Like Kane and Toews drive" if they.....you know ...took the night "off".Tgey promised to upgrade Toews Nd Kane from Chevys to
Cadillacs...but Lehner said he would never betray his Volvo.

So ...legit excuses wealk could understand for this fiasco.
But if we get nothing in legit excuses to explain this ,then thinkbthe fans are ready to quit on this team.

They have betrayed iurctrust to give a complete tgey did not compete and we will hsvexs hard time forgettingvthis betrayal.

Nobody expects to win every game. WE do expect a certain level of competition when you put on znNHL uniform for a team.
We saw instead total and utter demolition ..a "toting with us" as Toews sumned up..and that kind of toying rankles .. and the mystery of why it was so bad a no show will haunt our memories for a very long time.

The next question is. Can it be be worse than this ..or is the damaged psyches and self-doubt left from this game foreshadow the
disappointment of the remainder of the season?
This stench game will linger. And go down in the Analls of All-Time Hawks stinkers...but not just a mere stinker...a cloachal cesspool ofcstink in the grabdestc scale possible mitigated INLY by the sensational compete put forth by Rovin Lehner.

Not often a loss produces a legend game .but for Lehner valiantly,ALONE trying his best to keep the Hawks in the game and making sensational stops...it will long be cherished as the excellence to be strived for ,an excellence so lacking and so not interested I emulating by the rest of the team on the ice in front of him...he tried...they just surrenderedxand watched how his team (Nashvikke) ought to play the game of hockey.
