It wouldn't surprise me if the Bruins hold him out till after the break. He skated today on his ownHampus return this week????
The interview I saw with Hampus, he came off as skidish.I am sure there are nerves after being out so long. Its one thing to test the leg in practice it's another thing vs hungry teams fighting for playoff lives down the stretch with him not up to speed.Yea probably smart to take extra time .Be nice if he could play a couple games at Providence. This is a good thing, I see no reason to try to rush him back before the break
I hope Charlie and the rest will be OK.![]()

The Yanks are hurting.
Charlie McAvoy was admitted to Mass. General Hospital Monday night as Team USA was battling Team Sweden in the 4 Nations Face-Off at TD Garden, two sources familiar with the situation confirmed.
Team USA coach Mike Sullivan, who is also McAvoy’s father-in-law, said following the Americans’ 2-1 loss that the Bruins defenseman is dealing with an upper-body injury.
The Americans are set to face Canada in the championship game Thursday at TD Garden.
McAvoy has a history of shoulder woes and had surgery in 2022 for a left shoulder arthroscopic stabilization procedure. It’s unclear if his latest injury is related.
“Charlie obviously is now he’s out with an upper-body injury. Austin was more banged up or nicked up I should say,” said Sullivan. “We’ll probably have more information [Tuesday] with those guys.”
Good to know it’s not concussion related. Hopefully some antibiotics and he is good to go when the season picks back up![]()
