Mentioned that he heard when Hjalmarsson would come on the ice, Kane would get off the ice. (in regards to the Hjalmarsson trade). didn't say that Kane requested the trade, but that's what he had heard Kane would do. Strange

I was confused by this at first but what he meant was that Kane is not a defensive player so when Hammer was on, Kane was off. It wasn't about personality or disagreement or anything.

I despise crosschecks and think any should be 2 mins, blatant ones double minor & a game misconduct.
Legal checks should be w/ hip or shoulder only and properly executed, are beauty to see.
I'd almost rather see a textbook hip check denying a zone entry, than a goal. Almost but not quite but you get my drift ...
Poke checks not applicable obv.

I didn't mean using the word bro, more the way he talks about women and getting drunk and high all the time. I mean if they were 25 it would be one thing but Biz is in his thirties it comes across as really lame to me. But like I said the interviews with players are interesting and clearly there is an audience for it.

Calgary should send the Hawks a thank you note. Nashville shooting 100x on net the other night must have tired them out tonight.

Yeah never heard this podcast, thought he just called everybody by the word. No big ...
I only usually listen the NBC/Blackhawk one - in house organ granted but like the guys.
Also will tune in The-Rink's that one more than offsets the NBC homer spin - tho they do do their best to tightrope being honest & keeping their jobs. ;-)

Huh? I watched the entire game. The Flames never should have been in it. Rinne was TERRIBLE and they got a couple lucky bounces. Even though they won, they were dominated for all but maybe 10 minutes, where they tread water, and got lucky. This is what you call...a goalie loss.
