Something new could be brewing with the Hawks
Based on their off-season so far it could be literally anything lol

If you trade Holl in the deal, they could move Kerfoot for futures, or vice versa. Tight yes, but the D would be in very good shape. We'd need to dump Muzzin for it to work.
How much term you giving Klingberg? So this might be crazy, but Klingberg apparently has no market and is going to get a lot less than he thought. I know he is not physical, but he's still a great RH shot defensemen who skates extremely well, moves the puck and puts up points. If we move out Muzzin, we could perhaps add Klingberg at around 6 million or so.
Rielly - Brodie
Gio - Klingberg
Sandin - Lily
Looks really good to me. Add a heavier guy at TDL if we need to. Am I out to lunch here?

Most of the league had career years as scoring was up, that's not exclusive to just the Leafs. How many teams that finished in the bottom of the East will cut into those point totals?
You’re also assuming we get last years version of Campbell and Murray whereas I’m looking at their last 3 years.
The Leafs also had career years from 2/3 of ther forwards and that’s probably not likely to happen again.
Patience. Will be a good spot for him at the deadline. It's too bad Knies won't just play for us this season.. he would just slot into that second line right away
Other Strome is still available.Signed with Ducks for 5 years.

Leafs will have 4.5m in cap space to sign 3 guys plus Sandin and Engvall if they cut Simmonds Gaudette and Anderson.
While not sexy, I'd be happy if we threw a million at Rask to get his career back on track.

also works with Tierney, or a LW if Kerfoot slides into the 3C spot.
Oh ok yeah that was a brain fart sorry about that.Matt Roy.
I don't know what kind of player your getting to replace Kerfoot for less than 3.5m that will put up 50 points, play center, and PK.Clifford as the extra is just a waste of space, especially since he is not good enough to be a primary call up anymore.
Malgin and Anderson (or some other prospect/cheap player) should be taking two of those wing spots.
Moving Kerfoot allows us to spend a little bit more on 2 guys.

Of the three additionsTierney, Rask, Steel, Strome, and possibly Jarnkrok all work for different reasons. Mostly comes down to fit and cost.
Yeah I hope they give Robertson a real chance and let him feel comfortable.Patience. Will be a good spot for him at the deadline.
It's a good opportunity to try out Robertson or whomever until then.
