You have to think Huberdeau is worth 2 firsts (or equitable value) at the deadline, no? Especially if they eat half his salary. A top line player for $3M

Could be - I was conservative and figured Hubes and Weegar could each fetch a package of 1st + young roster player + prospect

.. I kind of lumped them together since Weegar probably isn't worth quite that much and Huberdeau is worth more.

Toronto cannot make any flashy moves until they have commitment from Matthews and Marner.

If/when they get those commitments, you can expect the leafs to go all in every year.
