My nephew even knows how to troll this, team properly. I told him how the entire hockey world is laughing at Chuck Fletcher and he responded:
#bringbackthestatue
#bringbackthestatue
So Dave Scott didnt fire Cucky cause he payed for the app Cucky does all this wonderful things with! Not Torts, not Cucky is the chief of hockey ops. Its the APP! You cant fire the APP!He didn’t necessarily use it as a justification. He was asked about what the Flyers do different than other teams and he brought up Dave Scott funding the analytic department and then mentioned the app and brought up you can input JVR and it’ll spit out the value.
Yup. That's the clue you need to have. Anyone the cronies approve thinks like a crony by association, so....If he were any different from the cronies he wouldn't be in his position. They're too intellectually soft to tolerate dissent. Especially reasoned dissent. They can't handle it.
You do not need to defend everything management does.

Were conquered by a APP
f*** MY LIFE!
I don’t think he’s trolling to be fair. In fact, I think Chuckles having some sort of trade app the team designed, which can be fine in theory, makes perfect sense with everything else the team does. It’s like the Flyers having the largest analytics department, tied with the Leafs. Or using a consultation firm for a coaching hire. It makes them appear cutting edge and modern — blank check! — but it’s just a facade. They might even convince themselves they’re a modernized front office. Because they’re inbred nitwits.
It’s looking like the FO is circling the wagons around Fletcher to make it look like none of them sand bagged him. No need for them to worry. Fletcher did it to himself. You do not need to defend everything management does.

100% this is why Propp got traded all those years ago. he should've retired a Flyer but was getting way to close to some of those old boys' records."How much did the potential for Giroux to surpass Clarke's records factor into the decision not to bring him back?"
Yep. At this point everyone is walking gingerly around him, hoping to avoid the fallout. It’s looking like the FO is circling the wagons around Fletcher to make it look like none of them sand bagged him. No need for them to worry. Fletcher did it to himself.

I definitely laughed at that one.I did not cheer Briere btw. My secret handshake comment had reason.
Nobody is going to pay attention to you posting garbage like this.Serious question for you.
How do you think analytical insights are shared and distributed across companies and sports organizations?
If anything. Bobby Clarke did Brian Propp (and Poulin) a huge favor by sending him to the NHL's best team (at the time of the trade) with a serious chance of winning a Stanley Cup. The Flyers were in the brief stages of an internal power struggle and for a rare first time showed an uneasiness in direction with countering viewpoints of Jay Snider and Clarke.100% this is why Propp got traded all those years ago. he should've retired a Flyer but was getting way to close to some of those old boys' records.
