Started out 8-2 on saturday and f***ing fell apart on sunday winning only 1 game. Rank 3 is fine, but I f***ing bottled it so hard

Came back from a trip this morning, decided to play until 8 wins this afternoon. Got there pretty easily so decided to push for 12.

Got gifted 4 wins, and despite not playing well, got Rank 2.

Red Vinicius and Carrasco, and Ferland Mendy in my Mega Pack. Probably gonna sell Mendy, as he's not as good as Renan Lodi.

Think I'll run a 4-3-3 (4):

Right now just avoiding the market crashes lol. Which means getting out of investments before 1P EST (in case promo preview packs drop), and also buying the dip from panic sells in case of the preview packs.

I'm not much of a trader, but Meta cards dip on Sunday evenings and rise again the following day.

Also look at good cards that link to meta promo/TOTW cards. For example...that Mahrez card that just came out...good strong links to him (Cancelo, De Bruyne) have risen. Not a ton, but Cancelo was 11.5 before he came out, 15 now. De Bruyne was 60, now he's 64.

Salah is almost for sure gonna get a POTM SBC. It means I'll be looking to invest in good Liverpool links. In the 4-5-1 you just need one strong link, so Rulebreakers TAA is a target for me. He's been dropping into the 160K range (he actually got as low as 135K yesterday).

When Salah drops, especially because he's Egyptian, people will be looking for a good meta link for him. TAA could rise as high as 200K I'd guess. Even someone like TOTW Firmino could be a good option. He's relatively cheap at 64K (though in the mid 50s yesterday). He's out of packs, so supply is limited. He's Brazilian which opens up plenty of hybrid options in the middle, and he's a decent CAM with 5 star skills.

Even if he only rises to 75K or so, that's still potentially 10K profit per card.

Alternatively, for easy investing, wait until the Player Pick ends and pick up Gold Commons from the Top 5 leagues at 400-500 apiece, and Gold Rares for discard. You may have to sit on them a while but a new player pick/upgrade pack will always come in 1-2 weeks. You can sell commons in the 800 coin range, and Rares in the 850-1000 range. I've been just running through the Top 5 by position and grabbing what I can to avoid duplicates so I don't have to fill up my transfer list/unassigned.

I'm tempted to sell because EA is probably gonna lose the rights to him... But if they have to take him away I'm sure I'll be compensated.

I like running first owner squads which is the biggest reason I'd keep him... But I could now easily buy Mbappe and Messi.

Good God... What to do??

Edit: I sold him for 2.21 Mil. Bought Mbappe for 1.35 Mil, with a million still in the bank. Holding off on Messi. I want a bit more variety in my team, so I'm actually gonna complete Mahrez still and keep 750K or so in the bank for investing.

I bought it for the first time, the Mobile version so I can play it at work, 10 bucks for hundreds of hours is a good deal

There was no point in fighting it anymore. I might wait a bit for the databases to come out, realistic mods, new players/staff, etc....

I am just trying to figure out which team to play. I hardly ever pick Juventus.

Brighton is always a great option if you want to manage in England

Division 1 just before the end of the season... Hopefully will get Elite next season but it'll take some work since the top divisions move down 2.

That might be a good option. I played a lot of teams in England, but never Brighton. Plus, they do have gorgeous kits and colours.

I am also considering Athletic because of the Basque challenge.

I started a journeyman save in Denmark this time. I assume I'll have to move on at some point because I doubt I could ever be that competitive in Europe from that league, but we'll see. 2021 I did the the Netherlands which is just good enough that you can make it work if you develop and sell a lot of players for profit.

Reached elite a few weeks ago. That division ain’t no fun. Sweaty. I think I went 7 and 11.

Decided to split my packs between yesterday and today for one last crack at rulebreakers. Opened my marquee matchup packs and packed tradeable Messi and Varane! Opened my rewards packs and didn't get anyone too crazy, but I did get totw Cancelo and Adidas Diawara. Cancelo goes straight into the team. Messi I'm going to sell, but Varane I'm not sure about because he also goes into the team and would be a major upgrade.

I could probably complete the base icon sbc, because I don't really have much use for my coins at the moment. I got lucky from the base icon pack last year when I got Puskas, but I feel like luck won't be on my side this time around.

Hell of a pull @kingsboy11 ! Everyone on YT says Messi is cracked this year.

I opened all my Milestone/Rewards packs yesterday. Best I got was Lautaro twice, and Depay.

Can't complain about pack luck this year though...lol.



Project TOTY is on...saving all packs (with the exception of 2 player upgrades, and 75+ Golds) until TOTY. I'll do player picks as well as each of the promos come along.

Waiting for a couple of updates before i start my long term FM save this year. Started with RB Salzburg which might be the biggest cheat code in the game. Didn't add any players and am unbeaten in the league and qualified for Champions League knockout round easily. And the reserves and B team are full of 4.5 star potential players.
