Only 2 games into weekend league this week and I want to throw my ps4 out the window. Not sure if I want to play anymore, those 2 losses infuriated me today. Add in I'm going to lose a shit ton of coins during futties makes me feel like what's the point
 
PES will become a free to play!!!!

Amazing!! Finally a company that understand the business of recycle content don't deserve money. I truly hope either FIFA do the same or lose significant revenues.

I've seen rumors that Fifa will go free to play after fifa 22, but I have no idea if that's true or not.
 
I finished up the Moments PP SBC today and finally completed my First Owner Icon Squad.

It's actually decent... Maybe I'll play with it next weekend. This weekend I'm running my La Liga squad for the extra reds.

It's EA, it's a bullshit rumor until it happens. They are getting best of both worlds, the $60+ up front, and a ton of the F2P micro transactions from Ultimate Team.

I think the rumor is coming from Konami's eFootball that is replacing PES, but they are going with a completely different model from FIFA and PES, so I don't see EA changing. Some think EA will have to change, but the games are targeted towards different types of gamers.

Yeah I agree.

This will allow for some interesting challenges. My goal is going to be to win the CL with both the Women's and Men's team at one club.

Not sure about that (more options), they said that it will cost millions to implement and might not be profitable for a long time. Can't see them taking those losses for several years without making any adjustments...so probably some smaller countries men's leagues will be cut because of this.

They are making an investment in the hope they can attract more women into playing the game, I assume. Any time you make major changes like this, the upfront cost is going to be heavy.

My King has returned!!! Got him from the ultimate fut champs upgrade before they nerfed them. Took like 3 attempts before I got lucky with him.

The 85x10s have been excellent to me. Got tots Mbappe and tots Di Maria in the same pack.
 
Just wanted to gauge some posters on here. I haven’t played the game thoroughly in years since the PS2, possibly FIFA12?

I guess my question would be, if I strictly play ‘manager mode’ what has changed since then? When I play NHL games, I hardly play online. I just play franchise mode until I get bored of the game.

I'd say from like Fifa 15 to Fifa 20 career mode was roughly the same, but Fifa 21 and 22 its gotten a major uplift. I don't know what it looked like in Fifa 12 and there's probably old features that have returned that I don't know about.

-in depth transfer negotiations with cutscenes
-have to manage team fitness and sharpness through training
-this was an old feature, but they brought it back, being able to sim games and jump in and play the game
-dynamic potential for youth prospects, being able to change their potential based on how they play
-being able to change positions for players and improving their skill moves and weak foot

New this year:
-create a club is back
-able to customize clubs badge and kits every year
-able to customize one of the default stadiums
-able to adjust your transfer budget and the quality of your team to start your save.

Do you sim the games or actually play them? If it's strictly the former, try the mobile version of FM21, you can currently try it out for a month for free, it's on Google Play Pass which you can sign up for free for the first month.
 
So this past weekend was probably my last weekend league for 21. Don't really think I'll ever have a team better than this.

Everyone here is untradeable except Chiesa and Alba who are only there for chemistry purposes. I also have Tots Mbappe on the bench as I couldn't find a place for him in the starting 11.

Overall I enjoyed fifa 21 more than 20, but I think this year I got more frustrated with the gameplay as the year went along. Hopefully 22 on next gen will be better.
