I voted no . The four nations was a huge success cause the best on best had not been done in quite a while . If it starts getting done every year it will lose it's luster . Done every couple years will keep it fresh .

Something like the outdoor games . Off the start had a lot of interest and entertainment but they have over done it now and it's kind of boring .

pretty much this and I'm surprised that only 69.6% are voting yes as I write this and 23.9% voted no.

Aren't they fans of excellent high end hockey?

Okay that's fair.

Personally I loved it.

I guess it's possible that we think it was better then it actually was because we haven't seen best on best it nearly a decade but I thought it was fantastic

Yes but when? The injury risk is just too big and could really impact some teams heavily. Imagine both Makar and MacKinnon get injured for example?

Honestly in the current political climate I kind of wouldn't. Would love to see the hockey but too much other geopolitical stuff going on. We can wait and have this series later.

FWIW, as an American I'm glad Canada won

Agree with this, the political climate quickly turned me off.

No, hecause i don't like the increased possibility of an injury to two of my team's most key players.

Not sure what team you cheer for but Matty TK is done for the season. I'm a Zona fan and I think Big Walt is maybe the most underrated player in the history of the league, so of course I'm cheering for his kids.

McAvoy was seriously injured as well. When professional athletes go 100% there are certainly going to be risks. They're not built the same way as the rest of us mere mortals and my guess is they redline in a way that most of us can't even begin to understand.

In the meantime, Xenoblade X is about to release for the Switch -- different discussion but imo a better open world than BOTW or TOTK, more focused on exploration than puzzles. Different sort of game but imo equally good -- that said, most would say the Zelda games are probably better than Xeno X (rightly so). BUT, I'm really happy Xenoblade X has a legit chance to shine. It's worth playing if you're also into Sci-fi (I'm assuming you're into exploration based on your avatar).

Anyway if you ever make it down to Phoenix, lmk -- would love to grab Helium shots with you
