Finally made the splash to get Wildcard Hazard seeing if I like him at striker better than Pulisic. I won't say he's better than him, but holy shit his finesse shots outside the box brings a completely different element to my attack. Pulisic weakfoot is a great benefit, but he's basically useless shooting outside the box. Ideally I'd rather have Fire/Ice Valverde instead of Mostovoi, but he's been doing the job there recently
 
Should probably try FUT again, always stop after the first week of FIFA

Started playing my manager mode again, went from EFL1 to English Championship League in one year and working to fix some holes now. Normally don't use the transfer hub but it's kind of fun scouting players, and then using them to fill holes in those weeks before the first deadline day
 
I've save 45 packs for TOTY. Including the 83x25, 85x3s, 83x3s, several rare mega packs, rare players packs, and rare electrum packs.

Should I open them tomorrow when the attackers come out or wait until next Friday?

Its up to you. I'm just going to rip them mostly because Mbappe/Messi are the true game changers in toty. I'm hoping they release all of them all at once instead of in batches, but I doubt they will.

I'll rip whatever position is in packs, save the general ones until the whole team comes out.

Got players for about 100 Ligue 1 upgrades, plus about 80 packs. Less than last year, but recycle will be easy with the same 11 players for my League Upgrades.

Haven't played much recently because I've been traveling.

Didn't get anything in my Attacker and Midfielder specific packs... But just got these two in 5 minutes from my 85+ and 83+ defender packs!

Still building my Ligue 1 packs but I'll be done for Thursday.

I've got so much fodder right now I could complete either the base or mid pick, or the mid or prime pack, but there's a rumored sbc that I really want to do if its true and I don't want to waste it all just to get mid Ian Rush.

It'll likely be like Ribery last year and be good for 60-90 days... May be worth the risk.

Finished my Ligue 1 upgrades. 98 of them before opening my saved packs and recycling. Friday afternoon and evening is gonna be fun.
 
In terms of TOTY’s and Honorable mentions: pulled me Jorginho, Rudiger, Dias, Donnarumma (2x), Benzema (3x), David (2x), Mendy (2x), Bonucci, Insigne. Crafted Dest, Varane and another icon pp (Stoichkov - meh). All in all very happy with that. Saving my coins for Ronaldinho mid and my fodder for Butragueno prime.

Had a pretty good pack opening. Took forever as at least for the first few hours I didn't let a single card go to waste... Eventually I grew impatient.

Notable pulls:
HM David X3

For a very long time, that was it other than fodder. I burned through all of my Ligue 1 packs, and even a ton of Premier League ones I crafted with duplicates.

I did get enough fodder to complete Paquetta and Dest, while starting on both Varane and the Base/Mid Icon PP. Still, to only get David x3 and no additional TOTY was a bit disappointing.

I finally got to my saved packs, most of which were untradeable. Was getting impatient, so I started discarding dupes under 83. Pack luck improved, but unfortunately my TOTY pulls were untradeable dupes, TOTY Donnarumma and TOTY Cancelo. I also pulled Prime Shevchenko which was nice, but not worth much.

Finally got down to the end of my saved packs, which included the 81, 82, and 83 x25 Swaps packs, and the 85 X10. Luck got quite a bit better here, getting HM Haaland, HM Insigne and HM Chiesa.

I still ended a bit disappointed. Obviously 4 TOTYs and 6 HMs is a great success, but obviously I would've preferred an attacker, and getting dupes was a bit depressing as well.

But I used those high rated dupes to finish off the Base/Mid Icon PP. I haven't done a single Icon pack all year, and based on watching people, wasn't expecting too much...

So I'm THRILLED with Mid Eusebio!! First time ever packing him. Used him in a draft and the dude's automatic. This more than made up for not getting an attacking TOTY option.

Not sure what the squad is gonna look like yet though...

You lucker. Did 3 of those. Pulled me Laudrup (took the highest rated), Stoichkov and Cassilas.

Don't know how many upgrade packs I've done, but I was finally was able to pack Donnarumma. But its so discouraging crafting so many and just getting nothing of note.
 
Struggling a little bit with what to do with my main squad...this is a strong candidate:

But I'm not sure about taking Vinicius and Paquetta out of the squad...This is challenging. I think I may lean towards Paquetta and Vini just for the 5 star skills...then it's a question of keeping Varane on 7 Chem, or Vini on 7 Chem.

Well... Just pulled TOTY Jorginho from a 50K pack. Looks like I'm going with Chiesa and Insigne instead haha.

This season, for some reason I am struggling in the PL.
 
I just finished 33-34 with my Fleetwood squad only conceding 20 PL goals, still finished 2nd, right now the two teams I can't seem to beat are ManU and Liverpool and I seem to end up destroying City, beat them 6-0 twice last season ince in league then CL quaterfinal.
 
The end of the partnership does not mean much for the game itself, that being said, the name change and just end of the era is wild to see
 
Yeah I doubt it'll change that much, but that will likely mean the end of the World Cup mode after next year which sucks.

Also just to flex a little bit this is what I got from my red picks during EPL TOTS
