All I know is that with all this bitching, we better not see any Stars players hit Wild players after the puck has left their stick. That's would be a late hit and dirty.

To me, the hit was clean and only looked a touch late on the slow-mo replay. Seemed fine in real time. I think Dumba came in with the intent to blow-up Pavelski, but it was shoulder-first and therefore clean from that perspective. I wouldn't have minded a 2-minute interference call at most, but the ref's thought differently.
The hit seemed to change the momentum of the game.
Most importantly, hoping Pavelski is OK and can come back this series.
If we do, I'm sure you'll be the first to say it was a "beauty hit, totally clean, Boldy shoulda kept his head up, that's hockey", etc.
Right?
Try actually watching the video. The first thing to that happens on contact is that Pavelski's head snaps back violently, within a single frame. That's clearly where the injury occurred and only happens due to shoulder to head being the initial point of impact.Your wrong or lying. I cant speak to your motivations. The head being so close to the torso as long as contact is followed through the body it's been deemed clean. Has been for a decade. Dozens of examples, that led to threads like this because people don't understand the rules.

lol I love the use of "clearly" while being so, so wrong.Try actually watching the video. Right?
You think?
Taking a team's top line winger out of the game with a concussion tends to have that effect, yeah.

Or a stick getting up high on Pavelski (Hartman's or Pavelski's - it's hard to tell)The head snapping back was whiplash resulting from the hit to the shoulder.
Watch replay. Hartman s stick hits Pavelski before Dumba leads with shoulder. Dumba is falling away. Is everyone blind? Unfortunate result. Hope he’s ok.In the gif above his head snaps back (body is never hit) and look and Dumba's body position when the head moves...he's almost past Pavelski already. Really looks like he clips the head to me.

Must've been Pavelski's, since they "reviewed" it and there was no high-sticking call on the play.
They did miss a clear high stick on Seguin, in either the 3rd period or first OT though. One of many missed calls last night.
Not how it works. You can't add a penalty due to the 5 min major review. They can only do something to the original penalty called.Must've been Pavelski's, since they "reviewed" it and there was no high-sticking call on the play.

I don’t think anyone is saying there weren’t missed calls, on both sidesMust've been Pavelski's, since they "reviewed" it and there was no high-sticking call on the play.

Hit was fine, but Dumba is a POS, so I enjoyed Domi pounding on him afterwards. Look forward to the rest of the series, hopefully Dumba takes a couple in return.
