I doubt it because their ceilings are very different. They played together at Herning in 11-12 season and produced at similar pace (Patrick 9+25, Oliver 13+13 in 36 games). And Oliver was 16 years old. That should paint you a picture.

Hope for 1st place, expect the third, but finish second? You have a deal, kind sir!

Haha not so much of a deal as a request?

All you are getting from me, is that im hoping for a 1st but expecting a 3rd :sarcasm:

Oliver has been skating circles around both the Austrian and Polish players.
He is top 5 in scoring in his 2nd season in the WHL.

Don't get me wrong, Patrick is a good player, but he is also a good few years older. And does not have the same upside as Oliver.

Oliver was drafted Patrick was not, which is also a pretty good indication.

Tomorrow Poland-Slovenia will be a very important game for both teams. Poland wasn't that bad against Denmark but Slovenia's goalies have sucked hard by allowing 17 goals in two games. One betting company gives currently 2.14 for Poland and 2.96 for Slovenia.

In my mind the odd for Poland is bigger than it should be. Other opinions?

I dont want to be rude.. But I wouldn't put too much into yesterdays game.

Denmark were awfull and apparently got distracted by Polands destructive play.
Hopefully that was very far from the Danish top level.

There's no measuring stick to evaluate those teams in any relevant way so.. Tomorrow, anything can happen. And Poland appears to have a slight edge since they are playing at home and have a decent goalie.

Patrick is hopefully going to be a key player on the national team in Denmark for many years to come and for that I value him much higher than his brother. I have no doubt that Olivers talent is much bigger than Patricks, but we need more players to stay in Europe, so that we can build further on our success and take it to the next level and catch up to Norway, Germany and Switzerland.

Its still a question how oliver will develpe. I mean i cant compare the brothers but i can tell u Patrik has grown by leaps n bound from the beginnig of d season. Very responsable in the system and his game and learnt when to take risks n go for d kill. 4 goals n 8 asists 11min per game is really good. Not to mention he is in d second PK tteam. its not easy to get such ice time.

Nobody said that Patrick is bad, just accept the fact that Oliver is MORE SKILLED player. Jesus...

Denmark will have to be much more disciplined and will need to play much better team defence, their backs need help from entire team.Protect Sorensen better as well. All this sholud give them a better chance but will cost energy, and will refect their efficency in offence.Think they wolud profit more if do all this, rather than rely on their talent up front.

Slovenia lost with Gancar their best player and leader,Koblar as well. With Gancar on goal wolud look much more serious.Olimpija this season plays with young players, but no 94.Cannot judge ofcourse from only one generation, but seems Jesenice out of Ebel slowly affects their production.Hopefully this is only abit weaker generation, and their system is still making (up to the point where they need higher level in their junior career) good hockey players.

wtf is your problem man? u cant read or what? are u dyslexic?
i specifically said i cant compare the two. I dont know anything about Oliver to be able to. And i was only talking about Patrick and his development as they both were a topic of conversation. And not to mention hoped Danish posters would love to hear his great progress. I had doubts about him at beginning.
As for Oliver hope he makes it to the NHL, I love that there will be one more powerful hockey nation and Danish enthusiasm in the game. And he has every prerequisite (from what i gather here) that he will be a great player.
But many great talents didnt progress with the same tempo as in juniors, or had a gap in their development with a sudden burst in later years. Jessiman was dominating in juniors, was a 2nd pick in the draft and got to NHL in his 30.

Lithuania winning against Croatia with two or more goals, odd is around 2.00. Easy money !

Odd for straight win was 1.85 in the morning. That would have been easy money but I wasn't able to bet on it. Well, there's always live betting available :crossfing

Think Croatia will put a good fight for a period of time, but tempo of Lithuania is very high and eventually they sholud come on top.Rosandić had two solid games despite 4.51GAA,expecially last game but defence is making bad decisions that does not help.Å akić our best player was carried out on a stretcher last game, doubt he plays today, that will not help as well.

Wouldn't say that. How many goals did The Netherlands score to an empty net with goalie not even in the picture?

Lithuanians have huge problem with secondary scoring so far as their second to fourth lines just can't finish anything even though they have plenty of chances. If they will be able to fix this today Croats truly don't really have a chance.

Did not see whole game but a good part of it,my feeling was that they colud have scored few more goals. Two of the goals i did not see but he had few good saves while i was watching. In game against Romania there were not so many good saves(most of their shots went into his belly) but looked stabile on goal.

IIRC not a single one.

You sure you watched the game? It was at least two (3rd and 5th, I think), Dutch forwards had an empty net to shoot for from the slot.

Sorry, I misunderstood your previous post about EN goals:D...yes, bad positioning by Rosandic on few goals, can't remember which ones, for sure. He is overrated goalie by croatian hockey community.
