Eller is just brutal, 24 PIMs in 3 matches and a bit. That's 7 minors +10 minute misconduct..

Meanwhile Danes score

IIHF reffing. Can't watch this.

He is. He is a big man who skates well.. These are things you won't see that often. It's been the first time I saw him play in the match against Poland and he really caught my eye. Had to look him up, was surprised he's only 17.
Yup, Ābols has been good so far. I think he's 3rd in scoring so far as well, which is quite an achievement, considering he's one of only 2 96' guys in a lineup dominated by older players, with many of them playing major junior hockey in North America.

4-1 and that. is. it. Belorussian goaltending not impressive at all and they seem to lack flair and that x-factor in the offensive zone.

Denmark is leading 4-1 against Belarus :amazed:
Anyone has a stream for it?

Edit: Found the you tube one, after trying eventually get something looking polish right.....

Thanks both of you.....so will be able to see the third period.

How has the game been so far.
Bit surprised the Danes have managed to dominate scoring wise when talking into account Belarus being much harder competition compared with Austria and Poland.
It certainly looks they have stepped up for the important games......

Denmark have been in control if you ask me.

Belarus got of a lot of shots in the end here where Denmark got a lot of penalties.

Hope they can avoid playing a third period like they did against Austria and Poland, but keep their focus.....
Mads Eller might use this tournament to "win" in penalty minutes :sarcasm: - something to show that he would be one tough 4'th liner in NHL (which is not all that unlikely if he can get a late 7'th round overager draft).

Eller has been a tad bit undisciplined if you ask me..

But then again, you know these lower division IIHF refs.. NOT the best.

Well, if you ask me - not really. Belarus is a better puck possession team, they are bigger and better on the boards. Their game lacks that sense of urgency and fire in the eyes which are so important in these type of games.

Result wise, Belarus forwards have been ordinary, powerplay - bad, Denmark goaltending was above average and Belorussian one - below average. Gavrus is supposed to be a best player on the ice but he's so invisible I'm not even sure he is still in the game.

Overall, I would say Belarus would win a 7 game series but in this tournament it doesn't matter.

Good goal tending by Georg Sørensen there.
It seems it is his game that will decide it for Denmark whether it's up or stay down in 1A.

The Danish offense looks like mostly one-man-rushes, often ending in a lost puck.

2-5 and then Mads Eller out again. So it is still a match of Belarus can score on the PP.
Edit: Which they did and a really nice goal!

Another penalty for Denmark (team penalty - taken by Mads Eller) - at the worst possible time.
Lucky for DK that Belarus got one as well now.....

What a powerplay.. Belarus are only looking to make one play all the time for the second game in a row which is backdoor feed they can never execute.. Jeez..

Belarus scored in the last second, but 5-4 win for Denmark but yet another hopeless third period form them. Especially last 10 min was total Belarus dominance.

Shots was 19-2 last period and 46-20 overall in Belarus' favour!

They play 5 games in 7 days, then leads 5-1 in the third period. Off course they slow down and saves as much energy as possible for the game tomorrow. Makes perfect sense to me to be honest. It is not the goal difference that is going to be the decisive factor anyway. Belarus looked toothless in my opinion, a lot of shots but no efficiency.
