Good luck Mack!

The vision, the stick handling, and he makes such decisive cuts in his stride. I didn't get a chance to watch too much of him throughout the season but this really is a package of how well-rounded his game is. God damn he's electric

If you get the chance, watch the YouTube video of the prospects game. The second half shows exactly how electric he can be.

Definitely watched it and one thing really stuck out. He took over. Mack has that 'it' factor.
Nike should sign with Celebrini and bring back the MAC ATTACK orginally for John McEnroe in 1984.
They'll need to update the "Nike Mac Attack" shoe. Sharks logo somewhere. Hey, Catlin Clark signed a deal with NIKE after went 1st Overall.
Why not Celebrini.

Finally watched the scrimmage. Obviously all the guys who have been discussed shone. It’s wild watching Celebrini - this is a deep cut, but watching an incredibly skilled high end player with the grit and tenaciousness of like Scott Nichol is wild. He will not give up on the puck. Bedard is awesome but guys like this win you cups.

No. This all started because there was a rumor the Celebrinis had a poor experience with the Junior Sharks when Macklin was playing there. And because of those supposed issues, Rick didn't want Macklin to sign with the Sharks.
I was watching that pre-draft video about the Celebrini family and they were super tiptoe-ing around the poor experience like they didn't want to talk all the shit they wanted to lol

Admirable restraint on their part. Fortunately he doesn't have to play on the Jr. Sharks anymore.

Or does he?

"San Jose has announced that they have reassigned Macklin Celebrini to the Jr. Sharks Program. He is expected to lead the league with a projected 725 points in 50 games playing largely against 14-year-olds. GM Mike Grier was quoted as saying 'we just want to see him face quality competition and show that he has what it takes to succeed in the bay area before he comes up to the show. It's important that prospects earn their spots.'

When asked why Will Smith was not being given the same treatment and is expected to start the year with the Sharks, Grier immediately declared the press conference over and threw a microphone at the tripod-mounted camera as he left the dais."
