You think it’s still possible to get Petey on the Eichel contract this off-season. 10.5X8? Cap will be at 90+ M in year 1 of it.

Need to make moving Boeser and Myers a priority if Boeser can keep up his production with his age, term and pedigree he could probably be moved rather easy this off-season. Myers once again remains the biggest hurdle. I’d throw Garland in there too.

I think we have to hope that he and Minnesota are a match made in heaven. If he continues to rack up points the Canucks could actually get a solid return and free up more cap.

Horvat's a better fit for their immediate needs.

The decision of what to at the deadline is going to be massive. We can't afford to let Horvat and Kuz walk for free when both would net a 1st + good prospect playing like this, but we're probably going to be just a little outside the wild card at that point.

One point out of a wild card. Not to be a pessimist but damn we're in for another 15th overall draft pick. Another undersized sniper BPA?

Agreed with you about the media but it just seems like our media and fans are among the worst in all of pro sports. Even Brian Burke a few years back commented on how 10% of our fans/media were just......toxic.

I don't mind it if the Canucks can squeak into the playoffs and get some experience under their belt for this season and next season. Even if its first round losses, it's progression. Then, once Myers and Pearson come off the books, we can put that cap to better use and start progressing forward.
