Miller’s agent did the exact same last year
It’s all moot though because we only have 13.5 in cap space to re-sign Horvat, Kuzmenko, Bear, Schenn, Hoglander, Dermott. We are in that same position we were after the bubble in 19-20 where people can hear no evil, see no evil if they want but the reality is it’ll take a lot of creativity to bring back a similar quality team let alone make improvements.
They’re on their first roll of the season right now, so on the micro, that’s good

I like Kuze but he’s playing with Petey that’s on a tear rn. His number away from him aren’t all the flattering.
Good game but getting that badly outshot shows how clearly the team needs Stillman BACK in the lineup

For me, it depends on what Kuz' final numbers are. For me, I'd personally be willing to move Boeser and Garland to clear cap if it meant re-signing both Horvat and Kuzmenko.
Maybe not 8m but I expect it to be 7m~.
He thinks the game the same way as Petey. We haven’t seen anyone as creative as Kuz just click with Petey like this.

He works well with EP..This reminds me of Anson Carter playing with the Sedins..It inflated his numbers,..but make no mistake..It’s EP driving that line

I love the Canucks but will have to admit that I'm disgusted/frustrated with many media members and fans in Vancouver. Ridiculous overreactions to loses, constant attacks on any players that were brought in by Benning (i.e. OEL, Miller, etc.), and a whole slew of other things. And now that we're winning, a lot of these guys on twitter and message boards have "mysteriously disappeared." You know it's bad when even fanbases of other teams are telling Canucks fans to chill with regards to their burial of players here.
So yeah - I am calling out guys like Rick Dhaliwal, JD Burke, Taj, Buck Foston, Uncle Laleet, Elliotte Friedman, etc.
Where's all this evidence of lockerroom rifts? Is JT Miller still a bum? How has OEL looked lately? Is Bo Horvat still a sub-par captain that is a 3rd line Center at best? Where are these folks hiding?

I'm just saying that when you enter negotiations involving 10s of millions of dollars, you want the person you're negotiating with happy with both the player and you. No baggage. Smooth sailing. Pick your metaphor. It does not serve your client well if you've pissed off the person you're negotiating with and who is in the position of offering your client a favourable deal - or not.
