Can Bedard challenge for Peter Forsbergs record?

Between McGregor, Bedard, McDavid, and Brown (sure, one of these things is not like the other. Idk which one) I might just have to name my kid Connor.

Two games to go (potentially) and 10 points to tie, 11 to beat Forsberg

I still say he does it

I think he ends up with 27 points. 3 each in the next 2 games. To further that only 1 Canadian goal will happen without him getting a point.

Do you want to fight about fighting!? You son of a..

When this thread started it seemed like insanely optimistic speculation. 31 points in 7 games or less. There's a reason even McDavid, Crosby, Lindros and other greats didn't even get close.

But today, after what I've seen from Bedard this tournament, regardless whether he catches Forsberg or not, I'm starting to think this kid could walk on water if he just felt like doing something challenging for once.

Most points, single tournament, age 18 and under:

Bedard - age 17 - 21 points (5 games)
Reichel - age 18 - 21 points (7 games)
Mogilny - age 18 - 18 points (7 games)
Jagr - age 17 - 18 points (7 games)
I like how at this point if Bedard had Robert Reichel's career (i.e. a good but not great NHL player) it'd be considered one of the biggest busts ever.
