C Clayton Keller - Boston University, NCAA (2016, 7th, ARI)

Wrong, the'll be an at-large qualifier. They're currently 6th in the Pairwise rankings so they'll likely come in to the tournament as a 2 seed.

Brainfart. Thanks for correcting me. I completely forgot about the at-large qualifier for some reason.

Really happy with Jost, but man, would've killed to get Keller. Elite hockey sense, and there's no reason he can't be a top-15 scorer with the right line mates.

So what do people think is his next step, now that BU is eliminated. Stay for a sophmore season, or onto NHL or AHL next year?

The kid has all the tools to be a top line player in the NHL. I love his moxy; CK is electric to watch with the puck, especially when the game on the line. Arizona has a good one on the way.

He's been pretty consistent with his path. He refused jr and pro this year because he wanted BU and openly stated after one year of college, he would go pro.

We'll see if he does or not, but he seems to stick to his guns. However, the Coyotes as a franchise are a complete joke and the team is ****. Maybe that makes him want to stay. But we also have a lot of great young talent, that may entice him. Who knows.

He needs to move on now. Kid has talent.

Keller > D.Strome (today)
Keller > Dubois

Hell of a player. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be one of the three best players from the 2016 draft.

I see him getting nearly 60 next year. I watch Marner a lot being a Leafs fan and there are a lot of similarities. Keller also has the upper hand by getting a couple games in this year.

I was at the draft in Buffalo and was devasted when he was picked right before the Sabres took Nylander. Keller is the real deal. Makes up for Strome....

Not as fast as Marner we know.

For me he's more close to Reinhart and Drouin.
