Zacha is pretty close to a first line talent. His two way games pretty good. He is definitely a high end second line centre.

I don't see it, seemed like they wanted him on the wing but he's back at C because Lindholm and Coyle didn't click at C this year.

I mean he's fine, responsible sees the ice and whatnot, but not the in a vacuum #1 center on paper.

Geekie has really good vision and passing

He’s very good

Pasta sucked on this board I read for 4 months everything from poor decisions to lazy to soft to can’t shoot anymore

Now he’s making Geekie good

Place is insane

Not just on this board, on the ice too.

Actually only 3 months. In January he was better than he ever has been.

Make no mistake, both guys are middle 6 players and Pasta is elevating Geekie's point totals right now. But he's got more offensive tools than Frederic which is why Geekie is playing on the 1st line and Freddy isn't.

There's really no way to compare, their opportunities are so different. I mean we could compare Geekie's offense when he was on the 3rd line like Frederic has been all year, but that stretch earned Geekie a series of healthy scratches.

There is a way to compare though - You watch them play. Geekie has better overall skillset and is the more natural offensive player. Frederic has a very nice wrister but outside of that, he doesn't have much of an arsenal in the offensive zone.

Geekie 50pts at even strength
Frederic 50pts at even strength

Again I hope they sign Geekie on a 3-5 year deal

me too, like to keep it at 3 years though. Geekie has proven he can play up and down the lineup, his start was putrid but he turned it around, Freddy hasn`t, no clue what a team will pay for the services of Freddy, looked at the stats of Jeannot at the time he was moved to the Lighting,

would love a haul similar to what the Lightning got but Sweens would settle for a 2nd rounder and an AHL lifer

Yeah, Zacha is a mid to lower second 2C. Go down the lineup of every team currently in a PO spot in the EC and he slots at 2C with Wings and maybe Sens.
3C with FLA, TB, NJ, TOR, CAR and WAS.
