Both Galchenyuk and Gallagher recorded an assist on the Cole goal as well.

Galchenyuk -> 1 Goal, 4 Assists, 5 Points
Gallagher -> 2 Goals, 2 Assists, 4 Points

Add another assist. That's 5 points with a period left to go in his 5th game.

Yup and galla has well.

Gallagher 4-2-2-4
Galchenyuk 5-1-4-5

Got to say his 2 assist were lucky but he is still looking better and better... he is quite amazing for an 18 year old boy. Marty Brodeur said he was impressed by Galchenyuk remindedbhim of a mix of Kovalchuk and more skilled Erik Cole on how he enters the zone.

No need to put the sarcasm there. He is a legit PPG'er at the moment.

I think Gally can put up 35+ points easily if he doesn't hit a road block.

I was about to say you're being conservative...then I recalled it is a shortened season. Easily is a bit of a stretch. That's a 60pts pace but given the fact it is a shortened season, he'll have less time to cool down as he started hot.

I'd say he'll end the season with around 30pts. That's quite impressive for an 18 year old in 48 games. If he does it of course.

If he's going to put up numbers like that he'll need to find his way onto the PP in a significant role. With the way Desharnais is playing it's possible but we'll see.

Not a bad game tonight, but both points were essentially luck defined. Still, I'll take those 5 points so far, as well as Gallagher showing why he deserved to stick.

His assists, or at least one of them, were lucky, sure. But I think it's a reward for an excellent game played. That pass to prust, and the couple scoring opportunities he had were very close. Great game from him, and he continues to show improvement.

Yep lucky points but it was his best game to date.

As far as I'm concerned it makes up for the 2 posts BGally and Prust hit from near perfect passes from AGally

Meh, sometimes you get the bounces, sometimes you don't. It usually evens out over the season when you are playing well and Galchenyuk played well.

Still mad the Habs got this guy... By far my favourite prospect out of the 2012 draft and now I have to watch him like 8 times a year :cry:

In all seriousness good for him, This kid is a WINNER.

He seems to be gaining confidence in each game and is trying different moves. He seems more assertive and is just going with his instincts in the ice. he had a couple of assists today that weren't directly related to the goals but also made some fantastic plays that lead to great scoring chances. Considering he only played 11 minutes, it seemed like you noticed him for one reason or another on every shift.

You can see already differences in his game since the first one of the season. The first game he seemed to treat the puck like a hot potato, where as now he holds onto the puck more. He seems more confident set the game at his pace and properly set the play.

Yup gally has some skills... 7pts in 7 games..

You can see still raw in some moves.. cant imagine how good he will be once polished... its gonna be nasty.
