Ok, I missed the game, but can someone please tell me that the 11-3 shot advantage in the 3rd period that was tied for 18 minutes for the Sabres is misleading. PLEASE. That's a pathetic effort in tied game against the worst team in the league.

Eh, they didn't really get that many great chances in the third. The offense was being dumb for the first half of the period, though.

They won, though, so I'm not that concerned. I was thinking after the Sabres scored and Hackett kept stoning us that this was gonna be another typical late season letdown, but this team is different.

Well they did have that letdown against the Sens. Almost cost us because without Bishop the Bolts were there for the taking and then the enigmatic Pens who the Flyers own. So happy that didn't come back to bite them in the ass.

NEW YORK – Thursday night’s match wasn’t about today for the New York Rangers. It was about tomorrow.

It wasn’t pretty. But tomorrow, no one will care about pretty. Thursday’s game wasn’t about pretty or ugly. Short or tall. It was about moving forward. It was about moving towards tomorrow.

Well, we have been playing without McDonagh, so I'm not all that disappointed with our record considering. The game against the Sens sucked, but they can score and create chances. Lehner just decided to play awesome, and Brassard decided to miss an open net.

It's a really great feeling that after all the **** we've been through all year we get the 2 spot in the Metro. Not getting the 1 spot was probably never going to happen with the coaching change anyway.

Nice to see Nash score against a **** team again. Unfortunately the playoffs have a serious lack of **** teams.

Are you seriously going to ***** about Nash scoring in the final 2 minutes to clinch home ice in the first round? If it's so easy to score against Buffalo, why did we have 1 goal in the first 58 minutes? :shakehead

I'd love to see Nash finally score a huge goal. Winning a game against Buffalo in which his goal looks better because the entire team sucked doesn't suffice.

He scored a big goal that got us home ice and you still complain that's all I'm saying. Complain in a game he doesn't score the game winner with 2 minutes to go.

He beat Buffalo to give home ice to the worst home team in the playoffs. When he wins an elimination game then he'll be earning that check.

Ok, be it as it may, you can't wait a friggin game to complain about him? It has become ridiculous. I'm not happy with him this season but the guy can score the Stanley Cup winning goal in a game 7 OT and people will still complain about something.

I also don't know what us being the worst home team in the playoffs has to do with anything. For a second there I actually thought that had something to do with Nash's game today then I realized it was just hot air.

I don't understand the Nash hate.. So what if he scored against a bad team? U wanna kno why ovechkin had a great second half last yr? Be cuz all the games in the caps second half of the season were against the awful southeast but he one the hart. Nash scores 1 goal against buffalo to win a game and get home ice advantage and he still gets **** come on... Now u haters are hating for the sake of hating.

i'm one of his staunchest defenders.

he was awful tonight. that goal doesnt change that fact. he was lazy for a lot of this game. 50/50 pucks he didnt even TRY to go and get. he checked out till the last few shifts.

was very disappointed in his effort level.

so 9 GWG by Nash this season. Basically solely responsible for 18 points..... still having an off year?

The Rangers can win a game 9-1, with Nash scoring the 2-1 goal, and he wont be solely responsible for anything. Last night was a beauty, but lets not get ahead of ourselves here, he's either on or off, nothing inbetween

Nash with the game winner= home ice advantage and I love him for that! Doesn't change the fact that he sucked for the rest of the game though.

Zucc-line was good and thought Richards&Hagelin had an ok game.

lololol

Ties Rangers hero Mark Messier for GWG in a season, still not good enough. Has to score Cup clinching goal with .5 seconds left in the period on a breakaway, splitting two defenders and triple dekeing the goalie.

Seriously, what the actual ****?

I'd rest Lundqvist, Zucc, Giradri, and Richards at this point, and keep Kreider and McD on the shelf.

Cam in net, Haggerty in, and call up McI, Lindberg, and Kristo, and see what that have.
No please, He need a point more, mostly a goal. He have "rested five games already.:)
