He didn't run the PP. Panarin runs the PP. Tony would skate up to center ice and yield the puck back to Panarin or Ziba to carry in. He was only a bumper at the top of the point.

He zipped the puck around. That doesn't happen anymore. Point-to-point is so damn slow now.

Easily the best game of the year.

No way to complain about the Rangers, tonight, other than the unbelievably bad job at faceoffs. Bruins are just great.

Blaming Quinn for this one is silly. He can't make players score.
He can adjust and start giving guys like Gauthier more ice time and with skill rather than plugging Blackwell and PDG with guys like Buchnevich and Lafreniere. I mean, come on.

So the goaltending was good! Everything else, an abomination. Absolutely uninspiring on every front. Should be a rock bottom kind of night, but will probably get worse (like this bad on offense with an off night in the net for like a 6-0 loss).
The Defense was bad? One goal against the Bruins is bad?

It happens a lot more than I thought, which is why I’m so negative about the situation lol
I’ve been trying to stay positive, but it’s getting ever harder. Last year Hughes and Dach were nothing special statistically, but both showed flashes, so KK’s underperformance was disappointing but not irritating. Now we see the third overall already have four goals and scoring at 0.5PPG to our guy’s 0.08PPG. And we could have picked him (albeit with likely significant backlash). It’s quite maddening.

I felt like Miller had a really bad game, he looked just as silly as Igor on that goal. And I love Miller, but he's been significantly worse lately.

He flubbed the puck this game more than Trouba. That fan job he did on that odd man rush in the first period haunts me.

We were warned this wasn't easy and now everyone wants it to be easy.
Why do people keep saying stuff like this? I rarely see anyone wanting it to be easy.

The majority of people just want some sort of production and more consistent O zone chances out of our two franchise altering players. Right now Kakko is getting more chances at least but this is absolutely shockingly disappointing to see out of Laf and kakko from a chances standpoint shift in and shift out...let alone scoring total wise. This is beyond abnormal levels of low production from both guys.

It’s a thin roster made thinner by injuries (Panarin, Chytil), covid (Zibanejad), and assholerly (DeAngelo). The results are not surprising. If I’m disappointed, it’s directed towards Kreider and Trouba.

Until the top players start playing like top players. This team is going nowhere. Also I feel like the goaltending will always let us down at some point in every game. In close games they don’t come up with big plays.

we get shut down by every team in the league

we need to stop crediting our opponent with everything and look in the mirror

lets try some more cross ice back door plays through 4 defenders then admire how good they are defensively

We were scoring ok at even strength until the last 3 games or so. 3 goals a game isn't terrible. The PP is the biggest problem right now. Boston is a great defensive team the shuts down most teams. I believe in giving credit where credit is due and not whine about things. Panarin should be back soon it seems. If Mika ever wakes up and when Chytil comes back we will be much better offensively. It will get better.

Yea...I dont like to see my team dominated for 40 mins straight.

When you lose 1-0 and your goalie doesn't have an amazing game, you were not dominated.

They just lost 1-0 to the best team in the world.

Most fans understood before the year that this wasn't going to be a very good team, but you cannot fault their effort, especially, tonight.
