Well Mr Gorton is suddenly all about accountability. Listen, you could’ve told TDA that you’re sitting a game or two, Georgiev too. Instead they cut the PP QB that had a hell of a year and scored 15 goals and stuck up for his teammates and kept the garbage goalie and a team with no balls that can’t score on the man advantage. But then again, this is the same GM that drafted Lias Andersson. He got rid of him for a second round pick and was lucky to get that. Aside from two layup franchise wing prospects, Adam fox telling the nhl he wanted the rangers and rangers only, his only calling card is the Zibanejad fleece.

This is complete and utter bullshit. The Rangers have a strong prospect pool that doesn't include Lefreniere and Kakko. We have one of the best defensive prospect pools in the league and Fox is the only player that he lucked into.

Fox is our QB, and a solid one. But, we got no triggerman. So, no consistent shooting threat, which allows teams to clog the slot.

I love Fox, he's the Team MVP so far this year, but the PP is 1/18 out of the last 19. Let's wait on calling him solid back there.

lets try some more cross ice back door plays through 4 defenders then admire how good they are defensively

I thought I was playing LGHL games on Xbox again with the blind forces through 2 or 3 bodies .

In case no one is familiar the scoring meta in NHL 19, 20, etc is basically just force cross crease all game everygame and the LGHL is the where the best players play. Didnt get 21 so I cant speak to that.

The majority of people just want some sort of production and more consistent O zone chances out of our two franchise altering players. Right now Kakko is getting more chances at least but this is absolutely shockingly disappointing to see out of Laf and kakko from a chances standpoint shift in and shift out...let alone scoring total wise. This is beyond abnormal levels of low production from both guys.

I 1000% agree. I like we've played with balls and defensive competence at least finally.

But I suspect Quinn has stifled the offense to a degree that a good and experienced coach wouldn't have. I also dislike many of the moves we made and think the team identity is damaged as a result.
