You do know there's another team on the ice that's the best team in the league, right?

Rangers probably have 6 players dressing who wouldn't dress for Boston.
You focused on a legit argument you have but ignore the glaringly obvious counter points and you do it while condescending to people.

Of course he's aware boston is good. Just as you're aware a lot of the issues we're seeing are not normal for a team to have for multiple seasons. It's possible there are 800 excuses. It's also possible several key mistakes have been made revolving around roster construction and coaching.

Why do you opt to ignore this possibility when it's every bit as valid as the explanations you provide? And why do it like you're always the smartest guy in the room? Just feels like you're always here to attack "the dumb posters" for the ego boost.

Movement from the blueline isn't the issue(when they can penetrate the zone). It's the absence of a shooting threat from either the half walls.

Fox is great at retaining and moving the puck, but he doesn't have a booming shot(which is fine).

But, nobody is s scoring threat which allows teams to collapse the slot.

What I am saying is that it isn't a QB issue, it's a shooting threat one...
Semantics at this point. Nobody is getting anything done on the PP. The offense needs to run through the QB. It's not.

I didn't want us to trade TDA but he was playing on the second PP unit and he had 1 assist in 6 games. Some of these posts here are ridiculous.
Name a guy on this team that’s done a damn thing this year consistently aside from Panarin points-wise? Are they cutting bait with any of them? Listen, I’m not defending DeAngelo for his role but they totally just tanked their asset after paying the guy. But then again, the same FO has judged d poorly with the Smith deal, Trouba deal, DeAngelo deal that’s worthless now, and others. Going into another era of NYR hockey with two albatross deals.

that really should not be a problem with Mika and Panarin out there. PP wasn't an issue last year when Mika was on fire. He is killing this team right now especially when every game is so close.

Uhhh, figured WHAT out? PP 1/18 in his absence. Shut out twice. What exactly is FIGURED out?
It's not figured out. No point in pining for Tony. He's gone. Btw, our defensive game is much better without him. We will figure it out over time. With Mika playing the way he is it don't matter who is on the point; our PP is FUBAR until Mika either finds it or someone else is put in the trigger spot.

Shesterkins numbers are starting to look ridiculous. And we just can’t score goals

he’s down to 2.16 gaa and over a 920 sav%
And eventually knowing if you give up more than a goal you’re losing

So wait, now it's NOT figured out. You just said it was. So you're changing your stance?

You didn't say that, you said you were embarrassed reading an internet message board. My suggestion to you was to not read it, then you wouldn't feel the shame and embarrassment you apparently feel. These would be good things to discuss with your therapist.
It’s gonna be ok, bud.

We’re going to be in some pickle when Fox, Miller, Lundkvist AND say Robertson/Jones are all better than Trouba and his $8M anchoring them DOWN while the forward version is making $6.5M for like the next half decade plus.

Buchnevich isn't the problem. If there were halfway capable centers on the team, he would be a solid 50+ point winger. He also plays harder than the vast majority of the team.

He isnt old either. Trading Buchnevich for the sake of trading him will only make the team worse.

We have already had fire sales where we got rid of good players [McDonagh, JT Miller, Stepan] and got garbage in return. Tony DeAngelo was the best piece we got in any recent trade, but he was dropped from the team.

Stop the fire sales, please. Focus on building with the deep prospect pool and retain the talent you have.

I like Buch but honestly i see him as a 3rd line guy on a cup team. Im not sure thats the kinda contract hes gonna want. With Kakko, Kravtsov, Barron, Lafreniere, Pajuniemi in the mix and Kreider and Panarin signed long term there might be little reason to sign a guy to top 6 money to play lower than that. Id hate to see him go but he's a guy you can't spend money on imo.

This is a tough loss.

And a disappointing loss.

And a frustrating loss.

But I don't come away feeling like its a bad loss either.

I don't mean the outcome, I mean the way we lost.

Having said that, I continue to be frustrated by too many of the vets.

I'm also with @Kovalev27 in the sense that Kakko looks like a guy who is nearing the brink of being dangerous. You can clearly see it.

I'm gonna go ahead and blame the ice

lmao, you're not wrong. MSG ice is always bad. And I swear, I've been watching this team for ten years now.

For some f***ed up reason, the majority of loose footing is on our side.

Do we have a *insert that devilish Toronto owner way back* in our history?

The dude that burned the bond papers in the Cup?

Our PP% was 14,7 before he got waived so let's not pretend it was that great with him either.
He also sat for two games because he showed some emotion, games he might have been helping that PP advantage. The facts speak for themselves. He was a GIGANTIC part of the offense last season. Yeah, he should have not brought his shit into the locker room. But at @Brother Mouzone (great wire reference) said in the GDT, right now it's the ultimate example of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Personally I'm happier with Bitetto on D than DeAngelo. At least Bitetto is willing to defend. DeAngelo needs another team.

Two one goal games against the best team in the division. They stifled our offense though the last 40 minutes of this one. OTOH the Bergeron, Marchand, Pastrnak line got one goal on us in two games and that came on the 3 on 3 in OT. The Rangers are defending better. It's just that our offense has kind of let us down and particularly Zibanejad and Kreider are not producing enough. That's right Tony was good on the power play last year. He was playing like shit this year particularly he was a one big dark hole when it came to defending. Easily as bad if not worse than Johnson.
