When you lose 1-0 and your goalie doesn't have an amazing game, you were not dominated.

They just lost 1-0 to the best team in the world.

Most fans understood before the year that this wasn't going to be a very good team, but you cannot fault their effort, especially, tonight.

They had 2 SOG in the second period

Well Mr Gorton is suddenly all about accountability. Listen, you could’ve told TDA that you’re sitting a game or two, Georgiev too. Instead they cut the PP QB that had a hell of a year and scored 15 goals and stuck up for his teammates and kept the garbage goalie and a team with no balls that can’t score on the man advantage. But then again, this is the same GM that drafted Lias Andersson. He got rid of him for a second round pick and was lucky to get that. Aside from two layup franchise wing prospects, Adam fox telling the nhl he wanted the rangers and rangers only, his only calling card is the Zibanejad fleece.

I’m sorry we can’t use the excuse of rebuilding with contract loads like Trouba and Panarin and kreider. We aren’t Detroit we aren’t Ottawa. This is easily the most disappointing team in hockey.

Troubs contract is/will be really bad. I feel he has reached his peak ... and am praying that he at least keeps the level he got.

Breaddude contract might get spicy. It runs for 5 more years after this season ... I think we're very good for at least 3 of those. Buy-out is ugly.

Kreider ... well shit ... overpaid by maybe 2 million, 2 years too much.

We will have to balance some of these contracts with better deals. It is quite disappointing.

I don't know if this will make anyone feel better but it did me, watch the first goal. Hasek didn't hug the post tight enough either and this was game 6 of SCF facing elimination.

@Machinehead how is there such a big disparity between Lindgren and Fox who are partners?
Well, it's a rarity, that's for sure.

I would guess that with the type of role Fox has on this team, he's more likely to push an extra 10 seconds on a shift whereas Lindgren, with his role, might go right off. These are situations where Fox is lingering because he thinks he might have a chance to score, and a shot here and a shot there can add up. Most nights it doesn't but it can.

He also took a shift without Lindgren while Lindgren was damn near bleeding to death and it looks like it was a hell of a shift.

With the way Kakko is going I can’t wait until we get to see Chytil, Kakko, Laf.

Top line will get it going eventually , but I hope we get to see that group play together soon.

You do know there's another team on the ice that's the best team in the league, right?

Rangers probably have 6 players dressing who wouldn't dress for Boston.

Two shots on goal is unacceptable at this level. It is one this to lose but that was pathetic. They cant even get shots on the PP?
