There could be an issue with Dimitry Orlov joining the team. He will have no issues flying into Canada BUT his US work visa needs to reflect his new employer for him to reenter the US.

On this team? Hathaway by a mile. Noel is strong and tough no doubt. Hathaway puts fear into people and that’s what we need.

Gourde would have cut his foolishness out very quickly with Hathaway on the ice. Playing for the Bs was Hathaway's childhood dream. I have to wonder if now being with this group in such a historic year will motivate him to be even better and play even more physical than he already does.

I don't know how Hathaway could play any more physically w\o consistently picking up lots of penalties and potentially setting up Pastrnak or Bergeron to get concussed in
retaliation. They definitely needed someone who hits to hurt and he fills the bill there
but he is probably the biggest asshole in the NHL and things can go off the rails with
players like him.

While I hate Hathaway, it is mainly because I worried about him injuring our guys. If he makes clean, hard hits and puts fear into the opponent, it is perfect. Hopefully it stops some of the dirty crap other teams do to our players. I trust in our leadership group to get the best out of him.

I am pretty happy with this deal. But I know Hathaway has his history.

Ladyfan has said she doesn't like him. I had this mental image of her (Silvio the super) sitting on the Seinfeld couch smoking a cigar, talking to Wally (Kramer), "I don't like this Mister Hathaway, he is an agitator. I am going to keep my eye on him."

To me the best thing about this deal is that Sweeney spread the picks over the next 3 drafts.

If the cup is won and depending on who is gone . I think DS will be very active at the draft he may not pick up a first but a couple of seconds is possible. How much the cap goes up is the unknown at the moment. The Bruins are also very good at signing College free agents .
